Aether had fallen asleep in a camping tent, so tuckered out from the running around he had to do. Defeating hilichurles, finding out who the "Dark knight hero" is. It was a mess. So when Y/N woke up, no one was there.

She fluttered her eyes opened and immediately went to hug Aether, then realizing he never came back. "Oh" She sighed and stood up out of bed, looking at herself through the mirror. She got ready for the day, getting her clothing on, and making sure her hair wasnt messed up in any way. She then put on her boots and walked out the door, almost immediately seeing a small wooden ornament on her front step. "Did Barbados give me this?" She chuckled and picked it up.

She expected it to be a mini lyre, but it was actually a small sculpture of a fountain, and had a small note attached to the side.

'Sorry I left so suddenly. Life is busy at the moment. But trust me, we can hang out soon! How about at the fountain, at dawn?

She ruffled her eyebrows, trying to think. Barbados wanted to see her at dawn-ish. But, she can't reject a god, he'll probably hurt her! "No no, Barbados seems too nice to do that!" She spoke to herself while entering Mondstadt. It was her day off, actually, she had the whole week off due to the supplies being lost on the road and Blanche being sick, so the shop will be closed for the week, or until Blanche feels better.

She just needed to head into town for a few things, probably visit the church then just take a walk around until it's time to head to...

Right, she still didn't know where she wanted to go. She either disappoints a God, or disappoints a person she might actually have feelings for.

But, Aether. She feels and actual connection with him. She loves her conversations by the fountain with him and cuddling with him in bed.

It felt... Right.

Barbados just came out of nowhere and just confessed his feelings. It was random. She didn't feel anything.

But he's a god. He's powerful. He's, Barbados. But he's no more than that in her heart.

By the time she thought this through, it was around dawn and she headed for the fountain, already seeing Aether there.

"Aether!" She smiled and hugged him.

Aether blushed. "I'm glad you came to the fountain, and I'm happy you got my gift" He smiled.

She blushed and hugged him tighter. "Why wouldn't I get your gift? You're the best and..." She stopped herself. It was too soon to day anything. 2 weeks of Aether being here. It was too soon to drop the 'L' bomb. Way too soon.

"Ok then, I just... Wanted to enjoy the scenery with you, ya know?" Aether sat down on the fountain edge, along with Y/N.

"Uh huh..." She smiled at the beautiful colors that the sky had made. Beautiful hues of gold, pink, and even some purple and blue here and there too. The clouds made a gold color which made the scenery that much more enjoyable. Aether just turned to her and scooched closer.

"Hey Uhm... Y/N, there's something I need to tell you" Y/N turned around to his words.

"Yes Aet-" She was cut off by a kiss. His lips placed kindly onto hers and his hands resting on her hips. She blushed immediately and kissed back, wrapping her arms around his neck.

It was all an amazing moment until...
Venti, who was under a love spell saw it all. His heart broke into a million pieces.
He began to cry a bit, and he walked away from the area.

Once they let go, Y/N looked Aether in the eyes and smiled.

"So uhmm... Yeah, I uh" Aether was blushing and looking away, hoping he didn't embarrass himself.

"I like you too Aether" His body turned back to her and his mood lifted up.

"No way!" He smiled and hugged her tight.

"It's real Aether, I do like you back" She hugged him back. Aether just couldn't believe it.

"It's just, I haven't felt this feeling of being secure, until I was with you. I felt so empty without someone to love then..." He caressed her cheek, smiling. "I immediately fell for you, love at first sight. It's never happened to me before"

Y/N blushed and her eyes wandered around. "Wow Aether, I well... Feel the same, something is bringing us together!" She giggled.

Lumine threw a fit. Throwing everything everywhere. "NO NO NO!!" Lumine then turned away from her mirror. "That. Is. IT!. I can't stand him being distracted by that prick! I'm gonna need to take matters into my own hands here..."
