Aether woke up in the middle of the night, sweating bullets and breathing heavily. He had a horrifying dream. He didn't know what to do, he didn't want to go back to sleep, and he didn't want to envade the kitchen either. He just wanted to see her. Aether got out of bed, his clothes a bit wrinkled up from rolling around. He opened his door and made it down the hallway, opened a random room and there he saw her.

She peacefully slept on her bed, her bed all messed up and her pillow wrapped in her arms. Her face kept on scrunching up. She tossed and turned.

"Get- Away-" She mumbled. She them sprung up from her bed. She breathed heavily, and put her hand on her forehead. Traumatized, she looked. Nothing could make Aether want to give her a hug more than this moment.

"You ok Y/N?" Aether asked, poking his head through the doorway. Y/N nodded.

"I had a bad dream, someone tried kidnapping me and it was..." She trailed off and looked over at Aether. "Anyway, why are you at my door?" Aether's face turned red and he thought for another reason why he could be at her door.

"I heard you talking in your sleep, I wanted to check up on you to see if you were ok" Y/N smiled.

"Aether I'm fine"

"No! I-" Aether stopped himself and walked to your bed. "I want to make sure you're ok, for the rest of the night" Aether grabbed Y/N's hand, rubbing his thumb against the back of her hand. She blushed and squeezed his soft hand back.

"You can stay in here, come on" Y/N lifted up her covers and allowed Aether to lay beside her. His body weight shifted the bed just a bit. His body heat was immediately felt against her, making her forget about the fridged cold of the night. In instinct, she wrapped herself around him. He thought it was because she was scared, but she just wanted to be warm. Y/N smiled against his chest and gripped onto the clothes that she had given to him. They already smelled of him. Ecstasy flowed through her body and caused her to grip on harder onto his clothes. "And by the way, keep the clothes" She mumbled out those last words and fell into the void of sleep.

"Good night" Aether whispered to her. He looked at the sleeping form. Her hair looked so soft and fluffy, he couldn't stop himself from touching it. His hands acted as combs through her hair. Feeling it's softness and getting rid of it's tangles. He hugged onto her, just as she had done to him before she fell asleep. Aether never thought this moment would happen on the early morning of his 7th day here. He's already fallen so deep in love. It's so stupid.

Love that is. Love is stupid.

It was now morning, the sun halfway above the horizon and yet the bird were wide awake. The pair of love struck young adults was still fast asleep. Their faces, no, lips so close to touching one another, it wouldn't take much to have them kiss in this moment. Soon a bird tweeted loud enough to wake up the male.

"Ugh" He groaned slowly opening his eyes to the sight before him. Aether blushed and stroked Y/N's hair a few more times before she woke up. Her (eye color) eyes fluttered open and looked around her room, noticing that something was off.

"Morning" Aether chuckled his morning chuckle. Y/N smiled at his and nuzzled her face into his neck.

"Morning" She muttered back. "Just 5 more minutes" She mumbled again.

"That's what everyone says, but I have some commitions I have to do down at the Adventures Guild" Aether smiled at the girl. He wanted to kiss her, so bad in this moment. Just looking at her lips made him hungry enough, he wanted to get it done and over with, but he didn't want Y/N to feel uncomfortable. She groaned and pulled him back down to the mattress.

"Can't you skip today? We are supposed to go out for breakfast remember?" She accidentally spoke like a needy girlfriend. But she was just going back to what she had said last night, she told him she wanted to take him to get breakfast. She didn't mean to sound the way she did.

"Sorry, I really, gotta go, maybe lunch though" Aether got out from her arms and stood up, fumbling with the buttons of his shirt. Some of them randomly came undone overnight. Y/N looked at him in sadness then looked out the window. She was saddened by Aethers early leave.

"Bye Aether" She said as she heard the door close. Aether began to breath heavily on the other side of the door. His heart was racing and his knees became noodles. He placed his back onto the door, and smiled.

"I- I-" No words can express the feeling he felt in this moment. "She- She spoke to me- Like a- Girlfriend would" Aether blushed and clutched his chest. "She wanted me to stay with her" He smiled and hid his face in his hands. "Just- Why is she so kind? She gave me a free apple, she invited me to breakfast, she allowed me to stay at her house while I'm in Mondstadt" He started to trial off. "It feels so right to be with her, but it feels too soon"

Aether was madly in love already. He couldn't help it. Maybe you two were soulmates? Maybe...

Just maybe...
