I was in the library today to meet with Adonis. It was early so classes hasn't really started yet. However, when I arrived, I was the first one there apparently. Well, for the meeting up anyway.

I mean the librarian and library aids were there of course, and this other guy that kept staring at me.

I started feeling self conscious all of a sudden.

Fifteen minutes have passed before I got up and went straight over to the boy.

"Hi! Do I know you?" He glanced up at me blinking owlishly before looking at me confusedly.

"No." He stated before going silent while still staring me down. I was feeling like how I would if a kid was judging me, because kids are brutal.

Except he isn't a kid. "Well, you keep looking at me so I thought we may have knew each other." Silence. Until; "It could have been that I was zoning out while me eyes just landed on you. Happens."

I nodded. "Oh. Well....uh-" "But I have heard of you. We were summoned here by the same person."

Summoned? What exactly is happening right now, and where is this conversation going.

"Oh really?" "Mason." I turned the sound of the voice to find Adonis. "I see you've met Oliver. Introductions aren't needed. I just said your names. Let's have a seat."

Oh yeah, Adonis seems a bit sassier than usual.

He handed a book to Oliver whose eyes lit up a split second before side eyeing me. I held my held my hands up in mock surrender.

I get the feeling that he doesn't like me very much.

I did however catch a glimpse of the book's cover, and it was a drawing book.
Oh, he likes to draw. How cute! He really does give me that 'quiet kid' vibe to be completely honest.
I took my seat in from of Oliver and focused my attention on Adonis.
He's the reason why either of us are even here. But instead of explaining, he just opens a journal and starts writing.

I wait a few more minutes before speaking up. "Uh..Adonis? Why exactly did you call us here?" He takes a moment before saying; "I wanted you to meet them. One of them is still not here yet. He's a clueless buffoon."

Oliver snorts at that but otherwise does not make an attempt to comment. I glance his way–as subtly as I can– to find him scribbling shade patterns onto one of the pages.

Sensing my eyes, he pauses before looking at me. I mean just looking. No kind of emotion present on his face to portray if he's bothered by my constant attention or not.
"Sorry." I mutter thinking I should apologize if I am annoying him in any way.

I feel so exposed under his scrutiny.

"Good morning! My name is Harden, and I'm the new library aid. Let me know if you all need anything." She bowed slightly in a nervous kind of way. Cute.
She's also seeming to be quite soft-spoken. I mean it. Her voice was so genuine sweet and shy, I deem her as a pure soul that needs protecting!

"Okay, thanks."

She walks away and I glance at the other two boys at the table. They'll be fine. I slide off my backpack then get up and make my way over to Harden.
