"Well here we are right back where we left off, and for once it's just afternoon rather than past midnight! You gotta get your sleep schedule back in order before you gotta go back to college or else you're gonna be late for every class!"
Hey if you wanted me to go to bed earlier maybe you should ask all my online friends to not live in such drastically different time zones! Also everything's online -okay we're getting way off topic here. BACK TO THE ACTUAL STORY!! GOD!!
"I know! I've trained myself to knock against the hunting metal fish to sink them, I bet I can clear away some land and make a path to where George might be." John suggested, flexing his fins. "Wherever they've gone can't be too far from the sea, as long as they aren't eaten. I heard Mimi always talking about how when us sea folk are dragged on board they're chopped up and turned into chum... I hope they don't try doing that to Georgie."
"Oh I doubt the author is that sadistic, besides all her other stories don't really scream angst. Besides, I don't think humans much enjoy the taste of orca folk. There has to be some other way to get to them, wait. Isn't your aunt friends with some sort of changeling?"
"You mean Eppy? Oh he's what he calls a selkie, a seal person that can change into a land dweller. Maybe he can go and see if George is okay! He lives closeby, I'll go and fetch him!"
The humpback merperson took off in a flash, his tail fluke rapidly pushing him through the ocean until he reached a gathering of seals at an abandoned lighthouse. Among them was a young man with fluffy black hair and soft blue eyes much like Ringo, speaking of the beluga he was there being petted by the newcomer. "You say you've seen other beluga folk coming by? You have to tell me where they're going!"
"I wish I could but all I could see was their boats dragging a pod ashore, but I know they're still alive as they're taken on board unharmed. I don't know what they would want with them, hopefully they're all okay.."
"Boats?"
"It's what you think of as big metal fish, they're called boats. The larger ones are known as oil tankers or cruise ships, I've seen how John is sinking those trying to harm our home. How has his new Aqua Crew been anyways?"
"Oh we've been doing so much! I gnawed through an entire webbed demon with just my teeth! Meanwhile Klaus kept them from sinking too far into the Twilight Zone, it was wild! Speaking of John, what's he doing here? He looks anxious."
Eventually the largest of the three had to take a breather, panting as he rested against the rocky shore. "It's George, the land dwellers kidnapped him! Brian, you think you can go and try to find where he is? They took him down south to the warmer waters, I think they're keeping him on land."
"Oh my, him too? Just what are they planning here? I'll do anything I can for you Johnny, the moment I see him I'll rush back here as quickly as my flippers can carry me. I can assure you that he won't be killed, he's a mighty orca and an even more rare orca folk."
"I sure hope you're right. Paul has been so frantic ever since he was taken, as are his parents.."
