About four months have passed since George was saved by the Aqua Crew, he and Paul grew even closer ever since. Louise often joked that they were joined together at the hips, the orca got more of a taste for squid over the usual fish and would even sneak a few nose bumps at the dolphin. Paul's brother, Mike also noticed him gushing about the orca whenever they were apart. "And then we were bow riding with those humans on their wood stands! Brian calls it wakeboarding, he doesn't come as often since he's helping those seals at Sea Planet get used to their old lives again but whenever he does he'll always tell us more stuff about what humans do."

"Wow, maybe he should start giving out lessons about life on land to the calves. I can't believe I returned just to discover this is the final chapter in the book. Aw well, at least I wasn't completely forgotten about."

"Hehee, better than what Mimi got, just one mention and that was it! Oh, I wonder how John is doing with her? He said he had to go see his family today."

The humpback merman in question was in fact with not just Mimi, but all of his pod. Cynthia was there too, snuggling up beside him while they were nearing the Twilight Zone. "I bet cousin Stan missed me a lot, as well as Victoria and Julia Jr and Jackie and.. Well all of my other relatives who pop by. I still can't believe it's been four whole months since we had our biggest mission yet! Feels like just yesterday when we reunited little Georgie and Elsie with their families and discovered what had happened to the missing Orca folk. I bet Mum is really proud now of what I did, I can tell she's hearing me right now, I saw her ghost back in Chapter Six."

As if on que, the ghostly mermaid appeared once again in the graveyard they were at. "I bet in the future there will be many stories about all of your adventures, saving the seafolk from the webbed demons and the land folk that wanted us to entertain them."

"Yeah, with a movie adaptation that includes a tacked on message that assures the audience that not all humans are bad. Nah I kid, no studio would pick up a fifteen chapter fanfic and call it worthy of the big screen. Netflix maybe if we included stuff about a bad boy." John joked, hugging his mother. "But I'm getting ahead of myself, this is about me making you proud. The entire crew managed to retrieve all the orcas! Almost all of them anyways, I'd explain but that would probably get this an M rating on here."

"What you did has ensured all our future generations won't ever have to worry about being snatched up and taken to Sea Planet, especially since the owners have gotten under a lot of scrutiny over how they treated both the merpeople and the sea mammals they had in their tanks. If only it were that easy to deal with Seaworld, but I'm not complaining."

"Not to mention George and his family can remain around Paul, I know they've been out dating for a while now." Cynthia giggled, planting a kiss on John's cheek. "That little orca is probably gushing all about his new boyfriend already."

But before we get to him, Ringo was bring Elsie up to speed with everything that went on far up north while she was away. "Are you sure you don't want to stay around here? You can never be too old to join the Aqua Crew." The beluga insisted.

"I do appreciate the offer, but I have a mate in the Arctic waters who's probably worried sick. I was thinking of you every day since I was taken from you." Elsie replied, hugging her son. "I promise I will come down to visit every winter, but my home is in the cold north."

"Aw, well okay Mum. Tell Harry I said hi."

Night had soon fallen across the ocean, however George was wide awake and breeching under the moonlight. "Now without any Sea Planet ships coming around trying to snatch me! I know I should get to bed with my birthday tomorrow and all, but I'm not sleepy one bit! I have only been in that tank for a short while with Kai and the others but it felt like years. I still can't believe this story's already ending too, well at least it wasn't abandoned on a cliffhanger."

"George? It's fine for you to be up late but don't go waking us all up too." Paul chuckled, swimming beside his boyfriend. "Moon sure is beautiful tonight, huh?"

"Yeah, you know what else is beautiful?"

"Me right?"

George laughed, nuzzling the raven haired merman. "Yeah you, as well as the stars out. You ever think we could have calves of our own someday? I know we're both guys, but you never know with the power of fanfic logic!"

"Thinking about having a calf already? We've only known each other for four-five months. Why not save that for at least a year?"

"Alright, I guess I could."

Smiling, Paul laid his head on the orca folk's shoulder, gently snoring. "Alright, I'll get some sleep too. Love ya Macca."

It seems like a happy ending for all, that is except for the now defunct Sea Planet. "Hey!"

Sorry, didn't mean to spoil the moment there. Anyways, Paul and George lived happily ever after.
