One month had past. Every day Jiro, Kendo and Midoriya came by. Once or twice a week the rest would stop in. Once you got use of your body again you were able to play games like losing to Sero in smash brothers or beating Kirishima in mario kart.

Most things seemed to be far better than they had been but still weren't the best.
For you, were constantly starving for an unknown reason. Here and there you would feel the pain from your wounds and every night you cried yourself to sleep about Joan and Shinohara.

The constant sounds of the hospital room door opening and closing had finally woken you up as the nurses walked in and out to prepare for for your day. once your eyes fluttered open you saw six cups of nutrient liquid was blended and prepared.
"Drink up kiddo! They may taste bad but I stole some special flavoring from other patients hoping it will taste better." The young nurse stated.
"Well you aren't much older than me so I ain't no kid. But I really do appreciate it nurse. I'll let you know how it goes." You stated.
She smiled and grabbed some dirty laundry. "I want you to drink all of those today because in thirty minutes you will start working out your body and getting used to a new prosthetic. A special someone made it for you." She stated.
"Ummm that doesn't sound good. Do I want to know who made it?" You asked. The nurse smiled when she opened the door. "Don't worry. She was given the top technology in prosthetics thanks to the help of your math teacher. So I guarantee it won't blow you up." You cringed at her explanation and knew exactly who she referred to.

"Great... I'm going to die." You thought to yourself. The nurse left and you drank the six protein drinks quickly. The flavor she had put in made them taste much better however they still tasted pretty bad compared to normal food.
You waited for thirty minutes after you forcefully swallowed the drinks. Right on the scheduled time Kyoka, Mei, Deku, Sero and Ashido came in.
"How you doing (y/n)! I'm so glad you are recovering more than before!!!" Ashido screamed with excitement. You waved to all of them and rolled up the covers. They helped you maneuver to sit above the bed.
"How has your recovery been (y/n)? I hope you haven't been in too much pain." Mei said.
"Its been pretty good except for the drinks. I still have two months of starving. I can't wait to eat again. Seeing nurses and Doctors walk by with steaming hot food to other patients makes me so jealous." You replied. "I bet it does. I can't imagine that pain. But once you can eat I'll be sure to make you yakisoba and takoyaki." Kyoka said. "And my mom and I can make you some melonpan and green tea cookies." Midoriya commented.
You rubbed your stomach and felt the hunger build. "Shut up! I'm getting hungrier talking about all those!" The group laughed at your complaint. "So Mei... I heard you made something for me. Do I want to try it? I fear your invention will blow me up." Mei laughed off your concern and pulled out a prosthetic leg. The metal was dark and there was a light trail of blue coming from the middle of it. "Whoa... This looks... Really high end." You said. Mei laughed more and put in next to you on the bed. Well I was given the most high end stuff from ectoplasm. And some of that zero point energy we stole from the league of villains was used for that leg too."
"Wait? You guys got zero point energy!?"
You were shocked. The group all nodded in response. "Not only that but we also got something that the pro heroes are researching. Shinso found some odd colored liquids in big jars." Ashido stated. "Really? That is interesting. And is there any leeway on the status of Cortana?" You asked.
"Unfortunately not. They have no idea on what the marble is made of. It is hard to destroy. they don't want to destroy it risking Cortanas death but they have no way of getting her out either." Sero explained.
"Damn it." You went silent and looked to your prosthetic leg sadly. there was an awkward silence before Kyoka broke it up.
"Anyways. Are you ready to put on the leg and... well learn how to walk again?" She almost cut herself off afraid to bring up bad memories. However she continued her sentence. "Hey. I can't complain about it. My own decisions lead to what happened. You guys made yours and I have to respect that. Besides without you I'd be dead. I can't possibly repay that kindness. Besides. I'd rather be alive even if I have to struggle with injuries the rest of my life." Kyoka cheered up upon hearing your comment.
"Now let's get started! We are burning daylight!" Ashido exclaimed.
