Someone pointed this out to me
in one of my last chapters i accidentally referred to the reader as a "he". That's my mistake and I apologize. The reader is still gender neutral depending on who wants it, the reader can be a boy or a girl or any gender ( don't know the details of when someone doesn't consider themselves a gender, but that goes with this story too) and at any point in this story past, present or future if I refer to the reader as a boy or a girl it's my mistake just having been used to writing stories with a specific gender in mind. If that happens at any point in my story and point it out to me. It's still supposed to be gender fluid.
Please enjoy

Your POV:
I happened to wake up early that morning. I think it was because it wasn't too late when we went to bed. At least for me.
I looked around the room admiring the posters and I was surprised that Kyoka was still asleep. She was pretty cute like than when she was at peace not giving a care in the world.
(y/n): Well Let's see if her parents are awake.
I got out of her bed and quietly snuck out after tucking Kyoka back in. As soon as I got down stairs I saw her father sitting on one of their chairs in the living room. He looked over and smiled when I waved to him. I walked over to the fridge and opened it looking to see what they had.
(y/n): Do you mind if i make some food?
Kyotoku: Not at all. Help yourself.
(y/n): Awesome! You won't be disappointed.
Kyotoku; Wait? Are you making it for us?
(y/n): Well I don't want to be a freeloader. You guys made a delicious dinner last night. It's the least I could do to repay you. How does okayu sound?
Kyotoku; My wife loves that. We have all the ingredients for it. The pickled plums are in the fridge. Shiso leaves are with the tea in the cupboard to the right of the pantry. The tuna is in freezer. I'd recommend grating it to get the shavings before it warms up. And we have the kelp in the bottom of our freezer in a special container.
(y/n): Sounds perfect! thank you!
Kyotoku: Knock yourself out kid.
I went right to work and grabbed the ingredients. It only took me an overall fifteen minutes to prep the food. After that I looked around and found the bowls and utensils I needed and got right to work. The first two things I did was cook the rice in a rice cooker and grate the frozen tuna. Within another thirty minutes I had the meal almost done and started to set the table.
Mika: Oh now. You don't have to do this for us!
(y/n): Well like I told your husband I don't want to be a freeloader. Plus it's the only way I can repay you guys for the meal last night.
Mika; I really appreciate that (l/n). You are so sweet.
(y/n): heh. Thanks. Now breakfast is ready so let's get eating!
