Chapter 4: Protective Heroes

Dabi sighed and rubbed his face. "Yeah your right, we're no use to LOV if we're dead. But I don't think they'll just let us go."

Aizawa shook his head, "Nope, not a chance, and while I have your quirk erased you can't do anything." He said.

Mic nodded, "Yeah! So you guys better give up now. Your no match for us." He said obnoxiously while striking poses.

Midnight sighs as Toga tried and failed to throw a knife at her "Looks like they don't want to go easy"

Toga  smiles. "No not at all"

Aizawa sighs, "Okay we're doing this the hard way." He says as he quickly ran in to attack.

"Oh come on!" Mic whines as he follows, the three of them attacking at once. Dabi quickly goes on the offensive dodging as many attacks as he can without using his quirk.

"Nightshade is bleeding from her wings and Recoil is badly burnt looks like it's at least a third degree burn" Midnight points out as Toga targets her."I could use my quirk but it affect you two." Midnight says whipping a knife away from Mic

Aizawa's eyes are starting to burn, in a few seconds Dabi will be able to use his quirk. Glancing over at Takeda and his daughter, anger priming at his heart. "Do it! We need to get them help, we can't stay here fighting all day. Takeda looks like he could be in critical condition." Aizawa says while dodgeing attacks and landing blows.

"Okay Eraserhead." Midnight starts to use her quirk knocking out everyone except her.

Aizawa stares at Dabi, "It's time for you to sleep." He said as drowsiness started to overtake him. Staggering over to his daughter he knelt down by her, and everything went black.

Midnight continued to use her quirk until she was sure the villains are knocked out before stopping to see how out Aizawa and Mic were. "Hey Guys." She said taking turns shaking them

Mic Abnoxiously groaned as midnight shook him. "Ohhh cm'on babe, just five more minutes I'm so tired." He whined before opening his eyes, "Oh it's you Midnight." He said as he groggily sat up, and helped midnight wake Aizawa.

Aizawa grunted before opening his eyes slowly, mic helped him sit up. "We need to provide first aid to the casheir, Takeda and Yoru." He said in his usual tired tone, rubbing his temples. "Mic, you take Takeda, Midnight take the casheir and I'll see to Yaru." He finished as he knelt by his daughters side pulling off bits of his scarf to wrap her wings in.

Midnight goes over to the cashier and gives basic first aid to them. "Has she regained consciousness Sho?" She said very worried  since Yoru was already unconscious when she used her quirk.

Aizawa finished wrapping his daughters wings, some blood was already showing through his makeshift bandages.  Sighing he brushed a peice of hair gently out of her eyes, slightly being thrown off by the heat coming from her face. "No she hasn't, I think she's running a fever too." He said concern in his tone. "How's Takeda mic?" Aizawa asked glancing over.

Mic sighed as he finished wrapping bandages all around Ken's body, mostly his chest, arms and neck, since those were the places that got burned. "The kid is in rough shape." He said a little bit worried, while holding up what was left of the kid's charred shirt. "He needs help pronto, how long do you think the paramedics and police will be?" He asked Midnight.

"I think they should be here soon like in a few minutes. They really gave it their all without causing damage to their surroundings or the villains." Midnight smells the air "Doesn't her actual quirk leave a smell in the air?"

Aizawa could hear sirens in the distance gradually getting closer. "Yes, kind of like a metallic smell, but it doesn't last long." Shota said as he gazed back down at his daughter.

Mic sighed as he checked Takeda's pulse and airways. "Hang in there kiddo." He said quietly.

"The cashier seems to be the least hurt out of them." Midnight says looking at their injuries.

Yoru groans curling up due to her injuries. "She really seems to be bothered by her injuries to her wings was she hit anywhere else" Midnight walks over to the frozen section to get something to cool Yoru down

Takeda let out a few painful grunts before relaxing again. Mic looked down at him and continued to check his pulse every few minutes.  Eventually the paramedics arrived and the two students were loaded on to ambulances and taken to the hospital.

Mic went up to Aizawa as Midnight filled out the police report. "How are you holding up?" He asked trying to conceal his worry

Aizawa sighs "I am barely holding up to be honest I was the one who signed off on the trip to get melatonin..." He trailed off due to his eyes being dry from over use "Could you geab out my eye drops please..."

Mic nodded and handed him the drops. "It's not your fault...no one would have guessed this would happen." He said trying to comfort his husband, before wrapping him in a hug. "But how are we gonna let 1A know about their classmates. We don't even know how badly Takeda's burns are."

"Thanks Zashi. They are in my class which cant even go to the store without something happening" He says putting in the eye drops before hugging him back. "I don't know Mic they don't even know about her actual quirk..."Aizawa gives it more thought "I guess tell them the truth and tell them that we dont know the full details on how badly they were hurt"

Mic nods, "Yeah but first we should head to the hospital, we need as many details as possible." He says gently as he drags Aizawa behind him.

Aizawa sighs as he follows "Yeah we should especially considering the girls are really fond of both of them."
