Chapter 2

No one's POV:

The team caught the unsub after two weeks of chasing him, during the time he had escalated quickly and killed six more girls with the same signature. The team was only able to save one of the seven girls he had kidnapped, leaving the whole team with a slight burden, wishing they were able to do more.

JJ's POV:

    "Uhh" I yelled as I angrily hit the wall with my hands in the police precinct bathroom. I was upset and angry that we couldn't do anything to save those innocent woman. "Why...just why?" I asked myself out loud, before I realized I wasn't alone.

    "Are you ok?" I heard a familiar voice ask from the doorway of the bathroom, realizing I forgot to lock it.

      "Emily?" I asked even though I already knew it was her. "Yeah, it's me hun", she answered walking over to me, wrapping her arms around me, making me feel better just by being there.

       "Hotch wanted me to find you,and tell you were leaving for the airport in ten, but if you need to talk he can wait." She said in a serious, yet kind tone. "No I think I'm alright, the case just messed me up a lot, and I haven't really slept in the past two weeks." I stated standing up, her following close behind. I went to walk out of the bathroom but before I could I felt a light grip on my wrist. Emily spun me around to face her, pulling me into a hug, it's her way of letting me know she's here for me. She smiled at me, as she grabbed a paper towel blotting the tears off my face, causing me to blush slightly. "Thank you" I stated meaning it deeply "any time lovely" she replied smiling.

      I had forgotten all about telling Emily the truth of how I feel about her until now, because the case got the best of me, but I don't think I'm gonna tell her now we're back on good terms and I feel better about it all, so it's decided I'm not gonna tell her yet, or maybe ever.

        Emily's POV:

     Seeing JJ in the bathroom crying broke my heart, but she seems ok now, and we seem ok now not like it was between us a few weeks ago. I missed it being like this, is being close and able to talk to each other. I don't wanna ever lose her, in any way ever again. Seeing her laugh as she beat Spencer's in poker and the way her eyes sparkled with joy from the win, made me melt with pure admiration, and love. "Shit, I can't think like this again, thinking like this is part of what pushed us apart last time", I thought silently to myself.

        I was pulled out of my trance by a voice.

       "Emily, Emily, Em are you ok?" Morgan asked with a confused tone in his voice. "Hmm...yeah...yup I'm perfect" I said still staring at JJ except this time she looked towards me smirking slightly, causing me to blush and look away quickly, towards Morgan hopefully he didn't notice. "Oh so that's it?" He asked with a cheeky smile catching on to my feelings, "what no, it's not what you think" I tried to convince him, but it's Morgan he can see right through my lies. "It's ok Emily I've known probably longer than you have" he said with a small chuckle, "yeah well you can't tell any one, ok?" I said confessing, what he said was true. "Em I'm great at keeping secrets, I promise no one will find out," He said calmly which made me feel better. "Thanks" I said, as he walked away to sit next to Hotch who's filling out case files.

      JJ had fallen asleep, and was still asleep when we landed, so I decided to wake her up,"Jayge wake up sleepyhead" I said shaking her shoulder's lightly, causing her to stir but not wake up. "Jennifer, wake up" I said in a more assertive tone this time, which made her jump a little as she opened her eyes. "Shit!"She exclaimed clearly frightened , "oh I'm sorry JJ I didn't mean to scare you." I said feeling kinda bad for scaring her, "no it's ok I was just having a bad dream and you woke me up right before I got killed" she explained, "oh, well your welcome then" I said making her smile

       We entered the B.A.U pushing the big glass doors open. "Emily, JJ" I heard Penelope say while running towards us, her high heels making it hard for her. "Your back, I missed you both a lot." She said pulling us both into a hug. "We've missed you too" JJ said on both of our behalf's. "We're going out" she said, " I don't think that's a good idea Garcia, we're all a little tired, and emotionally drained." I said, JJ agreeing with me "not tonight silly, if you let me finish, I was going to say tomorrow night at nine, the bar down town." She said smiling, making it hard to say no to her, "ok, I'll be there, Emily will be there" JJ said looking for my answer. "Um yeah I'll be there for sure" I said smiling at both of them, "but I got to go see you guys tomorrow" I said walking out.

    JJ's POV:

"What am I gonna where tonight" I thought out loud to my self, looking through my closet. "Aha, this is the one I thought to myself" pulling out a short, tight black, long sleeve dress. I looked at my phone for to see the time, "it's only six"  I exclaimed. Oh well I'll just go eat something, and hydrate now, I already know I'm gonna regret what happens to night in the morning.

     After eating, and taking a shower it was seven fifteen, so I decided to do my makeup and hair, I kept it light not wanting to go over board.

    When I was done getting ready it was eight thirty, I only eight fifteen so I decided to leave, I grabbed my keys and my hand bag with my essentials in it and headed out.

Emily's POV:

     I had put off getting ready till after seven, I decided to wear my tight, green, long, holster top dress, with light make up, and curled my hair.

     I left the house at seven fifteen seeing as I live 20 minutes away I knew I'd be early but I just wanted to start drinking as soon as possible so I don't think about how hot JJ is, I haven't seen her yet, but she's always hot.

    When I got to the bar I saw a familiar figure sitting at the bar, with a cocktail talking to the bartender.

     "Hey" I said slipping into the seat next to her, ordering the same thing as her. "Your never early" she said, as she laughed "true but when there's alcohol and dancing I'll always be early" I replied smiling, which made her laugh " That's a fair point" she said, as Morgan and Garcia arrived.

"Hey girlies" Garcia said walking up, hugging us both at the same time. "Hello" we both responded at the same time, causing us both to blush.

     After three drinks, six shots, and some dancing JJ was gigging none stop at every thing. Me and and Morgan decided it was time to get her home, so I decided to call us a cab.

     "Hey, h..hey, can I tell you a secret" JJ leaned over and whispered to me, as soon as we got in the car. "Um sure" I responded, " I have a huge crush on... Emily" she said laughing "oh...oh but don't tell her"........
