Emily woke up face covered in blonde hair, arm numb from the weight resting upon it. Emily brushed her girlfriend's hair out of her face, moving slightly to return the feeling in her arm.
"Mmm... Good morning baby. JJ said moving to kiss her girlfriend.
"Morning Gorgeous. How do you feel, you need anything? Emily asked running her hand down to gently rest on JJ's leg.
"No, I'm ok. Did the doctor say when I can go home?" JJ asked resting her hand on top of Emily's.
"Doc. said up to eight days, but knowing you we'll have you up and out of here in no time." Emily responded, leaning in to kiss her girlfriend.
"Eight days? Nooo, I want to go home, right now." JJ said dragging out the o in no for emphasis of her annoyance.
"I'm sorry babe, but I don't make the rules, but I'll be here the whole time so you'll never be bored." Emily said.
"Oh goodie." JJ responded rolling her eyes playfully.
"Your gonna pay for that as soon as your feeling better." Emily said, threatening to tickle JJ's sides.
"Ok, ok I'm sorry." JJ said in response moving Emily's hands to rest on the sides of her face. JJ moved her hands to mirror her girlfriends, leaning in to kiss each other.
....
"Hey you two," Garcia says entering the room.
"Hey pen, where's the rest of the gang?" Emily asks the perky blonde.
"Oh, there on there way Derek was taking to long to wake up and get ready so I left without him." Penelope said taking a seat next to the bed.
"Why'd you have to bring up Derek on his own?" JJ, asked with questioning eyes.
"Wait, don't tell us. He spent the night didn't he." Emily said looking her friend in the eyes.
"Wait, why would he spend the night?" JJ asked, looking between the two women.
"Jennifer, baby. You didn't injure your head when you got shot did you?" Emily asked reaching your to run her hand down her girlfriends face.
"Stop being a bit-." JJ started to say, slapping Emily's hand away, being cut off by Penelope.
"Hey-hey, you guys. I didn't mean to start a fight. But...yes, he spent the night." Garcia told the two, a crush creeping up on her cheeks.
"Wait so you are a couple?" Emily asked.
"Yes. We have been for about a year now." Penelope said, with the biggest grin on her face.
"Ha, you owe me twenty bucks," Emily said to her girlfriend.
"Hey, girls Derek said walking in," grabbing the attention of all three girls, making them giggle. "What?"
"There's the other half of Morica," Emily said, now causing the other two to break into a fit of laughter.
"The other half of what?" Derek asked, pulling a chair next to Penelope.
"It's your guys ship name, dummy." JJ said making her girlfriend giggle.
"Our shipped name? Baby girl you told them?" Derek questioned the blonde.
"Yeah, I mean they kinda already knew but I let it slip, I'm sorry." Penelope said, while grabbing Morgan's hand.
"It's ok, Spencer already knows," he responded.
"It's crazy to think, half of the team is dating each other." JJ said.
The couples sat talking for a few minutes, before being joined by the rest of the team.
....
"Bye guys, thanks for coming by," JJ said as the team filed out of the room.
"Baby, do you mind if I make a quick run to your apartment and grab you some things?" Emily asked the blonde sitting next to her.
"I guess, I don't wanna be alone tho." JJ said melting impossibly closer to her girlfriend.
"Ok, I promise that I will only take at least thirty minutes," Emily said, kissing her girlfriend.
"Bye, make sure to grab my book on my nightstand, oh and my keys are in my bag," JJ said to Emily, pointing towards her bag.
...
Emily's POV
It's been forty-two hours since I've been alone, and I know I promised Jayge I'd only be a half-hour, but her shower looked so inviting.
I took a shower, then changed into some of jj's clothes, packing a small bag of clothes. I grabbed jj's favorite hoodie, (which is actually my hoodie, she stole.) Grabbing her book I left.
I swung by jj's favorite coffee shop, (Starbucks) picking her up a carmel macchiato, and my self a iced coffee.
....
JJ's POV
It's only been five minutes since Emily left but I'm so bored, I can't move and I kinda need to pee.
To pass time I flipped through the tv, before finally deciding on Grey's Anatomy, (Arizona is my favorite character.)
I realize twenty minutes passed, checking the time Emily was officially late.
I finally gave in and hit the nurse call button, because the need to pee overwhelmed my body.
....
"Hey, Jayge I'm back," Emily said walking into the room.
"Your late, I had to ask a nurse to help me to the bathroom," JJ said annoyed.
"Im sorry, but I brought you your favorite, coffee." Emily said, setting the duffel bag she brought with her down, handing her girlfriend the coffee she brought.
"Well, I still don't forgive you but I'm closer," JJ said grabbing the coffee, taking a big swig of her coffee.
"Well, maybe this will make yo feel better," JJ said pulling out her sweatshirt for her girlfriend.
"Aww, babe you brought my favorite sweatshirt." JJ said grabbing it pulling it on.
"Um...no I brought you MY favorite sweatshirt," Emily said jokingly enunciating the word 'my'.
"Well, you gave it to me the night I knew you liked me, and it smells like you. So you are never getting it back." JJ said folding her arms around her chest.
"Fine, but I'm stealing one of your sweatshirts," Emily said reclaiming her spot next to her girlfriend.
"Fine, wait did you take a shower?" JJ asked reaching up to feel her girlfriends wet hair.
"Hey, you can't blame me the water pressure is better at your apartment," Emily said, wrapping her arms around JJ.
"Fair," JJ said, cuddling into her girlfriend.
The pair fell asleep, holding each other close.
