7. First Experience

The next morning, you prepare yourself in sports attire before heading to the training room.

You: You're never early.

Wanda: I cannot be late for you. Let's get started.

Both of you fight against each other.

Wanda: You know, you can use more ice than water. Isn't it more effective?

You: I know.. But it takes too long for me to freeze the water.

Wanda: Can't you just make ice instead of bringing out water then freeze it?

You: I don't know.. My base power is water, you see, not changing temperature. I have been practicing to freeze the water though.

Wanda: You'll be able to do it.

You: Thanks, I appreciate it, but when you say it I wonder what you are basing it on?

Wanda: I am basing it on the competency test we did in Hydra.

You: We both know that you did better in practice.

Wanda: Just trust me.

After training both of you went to make lunch.

You: I didn't know you could cook.

Wanda: I lived alone for some time.

You: You didn't stay here?

Wanda: No. Not in the beginning.

You: Food's nice by the way.

You finish lunch and head back to your room.

You hear running footsteps outside.

You: What's going on?

Wanda: We have a huge mission, everyone is gathered.

You: Can I go?

Wanda: You gotta ask Steve.

You follow them to where they are gathering.

Steve: What are you doing here?

You: I want to go too. 

Steve: It's too dangerous.

You: I.. I can be medic. I'll just stay in the jet.

Steve: Alright, grab an earpiece. Stay in the jet and don't move.

You take the earpiece and follow them into the jet.

Steve: The enemy knows we are coming so prepare for an all out attack. Stay sharp. We are here to clear this base.

All of them: Got it.

You: Which base are they clearing?

Wanda: It's mostly always Hydra's.

You: I see...

The jet landed and you see everyone off. You are able to see the battleground from the jet and hear their communication.

Suddenly you felt the jet move. You look out and see that someone has thrown one of the machines onto the jet. 

Tony: Sorry kid, couldn't control where he's landing.

You: It's ok...

Steve: Stay inside.

You: I am!

You went back to sit down.

*over comms*

Clint: Nat got shot.

You: What?

Nat: I'm ok.

Clint: She's not. She's bleeding.

Steve: Bring her back to the jet first. We are almost done anyway.

You open the door for Clint and Nat to come in.

You: Were you not looking?

Nat: Shut up.

Clint: She's bleeding bad. We need to stop the bleeding quickly.

You: I..I can only stop the bleeding with my power. Someone else needs to stitch her up.

Clint: Well, do it then.

You: You're going to have to hold her.

You place her on the chair and Clint holds her arm.

You: It's going to feel cold. I am going to freeze the area..

Both Clint and Nat start to see ice spread throughout the wounded area.

You: Depending on when we are getting back, I may have to do it again. In case the ice melts.

Steve: It's ok. We are heading back now. We are done here.

You: Oh ok.

Wanda: How's Nat.

You: She's ok now. You can ask her.

Wanda: We still need Bruce to patch her up. I see you used your ice function.

You: That was the only thing I could do. I better not be a medic next time, I totally blank out.

Nat: You did great. I didn't die.

You: Yet.
