"Alrighty" Santa said and clapped his hands "Let me show you where the magic happens". We walked down a small staircase down to the 'happy' elves I saw before.
A raspy christmas song was playing over the speakers "He sees you when your sleeping, he knows when your away, he knows if you been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake~" Normally it's my favorite christmas song, but for some reason it was very unsettling and... warped in a way. "Here we have it!" I saw all the presents getting moved around on conveyor belts, when all the elves simultaneously looked up at me with dead eyes - still smiling their wrong crooked looking smiles.
I awkwardly waved at them not knowing what else to do. And in an almost robot like way, they all waved back at the same time completely synchronized. I noticed something odd. The elves' fingers - they were bleeding. "Alright that's enough" Santa said and took me by my shoulders to move me away.
The next thing I knew I was in a closed off room, with the curtains closed, two scrolls one lighting up and one giving off a dark aura. It was his office, and might I say, it gave off James Bond villain vibes.
Santa turned towards me, and his eyes were like a pit of darkness that lost it's glow. "Listen Jenny, I've got a very special job for you dear" he said and tried to smile kindly "Oh thank you, I-it means a lot" I stammered, he led out a rusty chuckle
"I haven't even told you what it is yet..."
"oh sorry.... ''
I apologized "Anyway, Lately we have had an overload of naughty kids. Nowadays when you can just hide behind a screen, it's a lot easier to be mean..." What he said was true, I have multiple times been called mean things online "Your job is going to be,
to teach them some manners''
Well second chapters here - hope you enjoyyyy
