The next morning I woke up and had breakfast with everyone before they left then headed out to the green house. I had planned to spend the whole day in there just tending to the plants and staying far away from Zane, but he had other plans clearly as he entered the green house.

"Looks like you are tending to my plants and not working on the spell." He said. My tolerance for him was wearing paper thin and I didn't care that he was threatening to kill me and could do so at any second without much effort.

"I've done all I can do for now. It is all over there if you don't believe me go check."

I replied with more sass than I wanted but held my ground. He raised a brow at me and looked over what I have done.

"We will see in a couple of days wont we?" he said.

"Listen, I have done all I can. If this spell fails it will not because I wasn't capable or that I wanted it to. You took me away from my family to do this spell, I did not volunteer for this job and neither do I want to die as you have made it abundantly clear will happen if this doesn't go right, nor do I have any guarantee that I will ever be able to leave when this is all over and the spell worked but here, I am doing my best and still all I get from you is mixed signals. Death threats and 'fuck me eyes' in regular intervals. I think I deserve a little better and more respect from you." I finished my rant out of breath and hoping he didn't decide to just end me right there and then. But he smiled. I'm not really sure the smile was a better outcome.

"Okay, how about we make a little bet." He said walking in a circle around me.

"IF you win, I will stop all treats and 'fuck me eyes' as you put it and be a good boy till the witch's moon, then let's say your spell works, I will seriously consider you leaving and going back to your family after this is over. You will have your life back and piece for the remainder of your time here."

"And if you win?" The challenging side of me poking it head out.

"If I win, nothing changes and if the spell works and we find Maggi, I will advocate for you staying here indefinitely till you have no more use or you are too old to be of use." So this bet was completely for my life. I was not sure what the bet was, but I already had no choice and had to make it. It was the only way out I have been given and probably the only way my future was going to be in my own hands instead of someone else's. So judging by what he said last night I had no choice, and it was a risk I had to make.

"Okay what is the bet." I replied.

A smile spread across his face.

"Oh its simple and will be over in a few minutes. Something you already stated I can't do but that I believe I can do. You, however must first agree before I tell you." What did I say he can't do? My mind was replaying every moment I this house and came up blank but if I stated something like that, I must have been certain of my statement, or I would not have made it.

"Since this is a bet for my future, I don't see that I have much choice." I said.

"Brilliant, lets shake on it. Making it official and giving our promise." He held out his hand for me to take and I did so reluctantly and shook it.

"Okay now what is the bet? "I said.

He stepped completely into my space pushing me against one of the plant tables. Bringing his mouth to my ear and setting fire to me again. The heat traveling at the speed of light and engulfing me.

"I bet you that I can make you cum with my mouth like no other man has been able to." He whispered in my ear. Instantly the heat increased while my blood turned cold at the same time.
