I was cold and my whole body hurt. My head was once again pounding but this time worse. If this was going to become a thing with these people, soon id be dead and then they wont have to worry about knocking me over the head to get me incapacitated.

I opened my eyes to see that I was back in my cage but this time my feet and arms were bound. My feet together with a metal chain and my hand together and to the bars on the far side of the cage, away from the gate. There was also some kind of gag around my head, keeping me from talking or screaming I'm assuming.

"Welcome back sweetness." Said the same man that said id be his if the Maroy did not want me. he was kneeling down in front of the cage. Smiling at me disgustingly trough the bars. In looked to the side where Abby's cage was and was relieved to find it empty.

"Oh yea, your little friend there got away. But don't worry. We just got a new offer on you. For double we would have gotten for the both of you. Clearly you witches are highly looked for."

I looked at him in confusion. I wanted to ask who would pay so much for me but with the gag in my mouth I obviously couldn't.

"I can tell you one thing sweetness, you are going to wish that you stayed put in that cage. We don't normally do business with their kind. To dangerous. To evil for our liking but cause you killed old Bill and made our little fairy run away, we decided to take them up on their offer." He smiled is disgusting smile again sowing off his missing and brown teeth which made my stomach turn.

"Would been nice to see them eat you tough I think they will probably wana take you away so as to eat ya slowly. I heard them folk like taking teir time and first eat yer eyes then moving on. Body part of body part." He laughed out loud this time.

"Oh yea you gona wish you stayed here with me." he said and then laughed as he walked away.

I wanted to use magic to melt my bindings once everyone had gone to sleep but with my head hurting this bad and me losing too much blood trough it, it was impossible to concentrate enough to summon any kind of magic. My only hope now was that Abby gets to Zane or the others. She was my last hope.

I must have blacked out again because when I opened my eyes it was fully dark and there was once again a plate of food in the bottom of the cage. I moved toward it and realized the chain, chaining me to the bars had been extended to that I could move my bound hands in the cage but not far enough to reach the lock. The gag had also been removed. I reached for my food which seemed to be some kind of soup and one piece of stale bread.

I ate it as it feels like I had not eaten in days, which was possible as there was no one around to tell me how long I had been out this time.

The food was bad but I ate it anyway, knowing I needed my strength.

I sat and watched the people moving about their day. Woman washing and hanging clothes. Kids running and kicking balls around. Little girls playing in the dirt with dolls. People talking to each other and greeting one another as they passed. Men building fires and making food. Life carrying on around me and not one of all these people. Not man, woman or child though it anything out the ordinary that just a few feet from them there was a woman starving in a cage who is about to be killed for money. That they were sending me to my death all for the sake of some coin.

What these people needed money for I could not figure, they lived off the land here and had everything they could need right here in these woods. There were fields of growing vegetables at the far end of the village, loads of deer and fresh water in the woods. Enough trees for firewood. So why did they need so much money.

I sat there staring at the people in the village. Going about their day. When I saw that creepy toothless man walking up to me again. It was not night yet, which was when they fed me so I don't know what he was coming over here to do.
