Up from the balcony, Virat was listening to their conversation. His surprise and happiness about Sai's heritage quickly changed to anger and jealousy at Aryan putting his hands on Sai's shoulders and his almost confession. He was even upset at Sai when (he thought) she was seriously thinking of leaving CN and going with Aryan. He really couldn't understand what more he could do to convince Sai. Seeing the scene below, he was almost ready to go down and slap Aryan, when he heard voices again.

A: Sai, I am still your friend. Whatever you are thinking, you can share with me. If I am not wrong, I think you are afraid of leaving this family and even Virat to some extent! For the first time, Sai is confused and speechless! Come on, please tell me what is in your mind.

Sai looks around to see if anyone is listening. Virat quickly ducks under the railing and continues to listen. (Thank god. He restrained himself! 😅)

S: Yes Aryan, I have got attached to some of the family members. They are very good to me. Aai, baba, Mohit, and Shivani bua are so good to me. They have fulfilled the need of family for me. And Virat sir....

Virat strains his ear to listen. He really wants to know what Sai thinks of him. 🤔

S: He has been really good to me, considering his responsibility towards me. My fees and needs are all taken care of very well by him. But whenever he has tried to do something nice for me, after some time he behaves so rudely towards me. I never understand what he thinks, what he feels. He is such an enigma, always oscillating between 2 extremes. He expects me to understand, but even after almost 1 year of marriage I have no idea what sort of person he is. Though he looks after me like aaba used to, he has never made his feelings clear. He never stood up for me when the family members were against me. I never knew that his familial love is so strong! I think that means I was never a part of the family! 😔😕

Virat is almost stunned at these comments. He thinks back about all the times he just kept quite. Either he would keep quite, or tell Sai to shut up, or end up the matter without solving it. He had even told Sai to adjust with the taunts thrown at her by saying that after marriage all such things were normal, while in fact Sai was facing harassment and he hadn't done anything about it. Sai was someone who hid her feelings, her anger, her frustration, but let it all convey through her eyes. Virat had always admired the beauty of her eyes but never the sadness and frustration in them. He deeply regretted what he had done to Sai till then. He continued to listen, as Sai was still talking below.

S: But, you know what Aryan, in spite of all this I am unknowingly drawn to Virat sir. Sometimes the way he looks at me is enough to dissolve all my anger towards him 😍! When he gives his surprises, they are sooo beautiful! But sometimes he does stupid things, uses the words "Duty" and "Responsibility" so much that I have to bury down my feelings and talk about our "Deal marriage" and me leaving the house! Uhhhh, my feelings are such a mess.
