SONG: I FOUND BY AMBER RUN
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Calum,
I wish I knew how to speak to you like a normal person.
But I've neve-
"It's you!"
Turning around as I stand up, coming face to face with the man I've wrote silly letters to.
"Oh hey..."
Oh shit...
I look up at him through my eye lashes even though it doesn't help because my height of 4'6 is no match to his 6 foot something height.
I can tell he's shocked but since he hasn't spoken again it's making me nervous.
Biting my lip I turn around, quickly walking away from him.
Until I feel a hand grab my shoulder, pulling me back against a body.
It's his.
It's Calums body.
"You think you can give me those letters, thinking I'd never figure out who you are but I did, I work at the library and I got a hold of the footage, I saw you. I may not have saw your face but I can recognize you from the time we talked in the library and why must you think so little of yourself, I saw you in that shop when I was with Luke. I've finally figured it out and you want to walk away like it's nothing?!"
Pushing away from him I look up, glaring at him.
"Don't fucking touch me!"
"Don't act like you don't like it!"
"I'll say, do and feel whatever the hell I please!"
"Fine!"
And with that he stomps of like a child that didn't get their way.
Puffing my cheeks I sit back down, thinking for awhile till I feel someone beside me.
"Back so soon?"
"Shut up. Is there more?"
"Letters?"
"Obviously, what'd you think I meant?"
Shrugging, I reach into my pocket grabbing multiple folded up pieces of paper and handing them to him.
Looking over I see him reading them, a few of them having alcohol spills on them.
I shake my head, laughing.
20 minutes later he looks at the notebook in my hand.
"Were you writing one?"
"Yeah."
"Can I see it?"
"It doesn't have anything on it."
"Really?"
"Yes and you have a lot of fucking questions."
"You're weird."
"Gracias."
"You're one of those one word kids. Except your not a kid, you might be the size o-"
"Are you calling me short?"
"Sort of."
"Asshole."
"Bitch."
"I've been told that too many times, it's not new, what else do you got?"
I look over at him as he's toying with his lip.
"I didn't come here to insult you."
"Ok."
Seeing him stand up out of the corner of my eye, I glance at him.
Calum places a small piece of paper onto my lap.
"I don't want whatever this is..."
But he keeps walking, until he turns a corner and he's out of my site.
Pulling one of the letters I didn't want him to see, I groan.
That was weird, but I know he won't leave me alone.
I wish he would.
But I know he won't.
That's gonna be a problem but I'm stuck with it.
Unfolding the paper, it's a number.
Well, his I guess.
I could choose not to save this.
I'm going to though.
I don't understand, why doesn't he think I'm creepy?
I just don't get how he didn't see me as disgusting and weird
How could he stand to be near me so long?
Why didn't he just see me once and never look back like I was nada.
He didn't look back though so that might be the end but he gave me his number, so..
As much as I thought I'd like to know him, how can I trust him?
I've gotta hide from him.
I'll use him as a warning sign.
Shaking my head I run to my apartment, grabbing the few things I have.
Pulling out my knife I cut open the mattress, grabbing the wad of money.
I look around, dropping the key to the floor as I dash out and to the nearest station to get as far as I fucking can.
