• ch 3 •

Audrey's POV

I run through backyards, running as fast as I could to the gates.

I'm nearly there when I hear another gunshot.

I run up to the gates, and start opening them.

"Whoa Whoa what are you doing?" Sasha calls down at me, looking concerned. "What is all the commotion about?"

"Negan wants me to go to the sanctuary, and Rosita shot Lucille," I yell up at her, closing the gate behind me. "Radio me when it's clear!"

Sasha nods and I run off.

Three hours later

I'm sitting in the hollow tree Carl told me about, waiting for Sasha's OK to come back.

"Audrey..." Sashas voice crackles from my walkie talkie.

"Sash? Is it clear?" I ask.

"You're good to come back, they're gone...."

I can tell she isn't telling me something.
I sigh. "Who's dead?"

*crackle* "Olivia.... and Spencer,"

"Jesus Christ," I say under my breath.

I inhale, attempting to not cry, "I'll be back by sundown,"

I start heading back to Alexandria, machete in hand, thinking about the people we lost today.

I hear a walker behind me, so I swiftly spun around and plunge my machete into its face.

I yank it out and the walker drops to the ground.

"Holy shit, that was badass," I hear from behind me.

An all too familiar voice.

I freeze.

I whip out my pistol and spin around.

Negan is standing about 6 feet away , with Lucille slung over his shoulder.

"Come any closer, I shoot," I growl at him.

He puts his hands up and grins. "I believe you,"

"I'm not going to the sanctuary with you," I state.

Negan snickers. "Is that so?"

I nod and tilt my head a bit, still pointing my gun at him. "That's right,"

He steps forward a pace and I aim my gun down and shoot him in the thigh.

"Aghh! Fuck!" He yells and falls to the ground.

"What'd i tell you?" I holster my gun and walk away, trying to slow my breathing.

I am aware this is the shortest chapter ever, I'm just tired, I'll promise to write more often and more interesting and long chapters
