Louis made himself comfortable on Harry's bed, resulting in Harry to sit down on Liam's bed with a scowl scrunching his lips. Liam went through his bag to collect his chemistry text book and sit beside Harry as he flipped through the pages.
"So how long is this going to take?" Louis asked as his fingers stroked through his feathery hair.
"An hour at least." Liam answered and got out his notebook, beginning to write down page numbers, Liam was preparing the tutoring session for Louis as he would bring up the key points to chemistry.
"An hour!?" Louis suddenly sat up with a shocked expression; he opened and closed his mouth having no words to say after shouting. "Why not twelve minutes?"
"Because you won't learn anything that way." Harry commented blandly, watching Louis with narrowed eyes. He looked to Louis' pockets, wondering if his jump drive could be there or possibly the pockets to his hoodie.
"Oh shut it, you're just jealous that I get to have some quality time with Liam." Louis said as a smirk twitched at the corner of his lips. He could see that he was getting under Harry's skin, and it wasn't that hard. Harry was quite easy to read and his reactions, as always, were great. Louis didn't mean any serious harm, although he didn't care much for Harry, he wasn't anything special. Was he?
"No, I'm not." Harry sighed, wishing to be away from Louis but this was his room and he had nothing else to do.
"Oh I'm sure." Louis replied and rolled his eyes, thinking about how this curly lad was highly in denial.
"Oh shut up and study." Harry snapped back and faced away from Louis with a huff escaping his throat. He was growing tired of Louis' teasing and glanced to the clock to see how much longer the tutoring would last. 56 minutes.
"Alright you two, it's either get along or one of you leave the room and I think we all know who would have to leave. Harry." Liam warned lightly and nudged Harry's side causing him to flinch.
"Yeah I know, sorry." Harry muttered over his shoulder and apologized to Louis not so whole heartedly but it was close enough. Louis was an annoyance and he didn't see how someone as nice as Niall could tolerate someone so rude.
"Sure you are," Louis rolled his eyes but caught sight of Liam's expression directed towards him and sucked in his breath. "Apology accepted."
" Alright then, let's study." Liam smiled quite pleased that everything was in order finally; he didn't know whether to be annoyed that the two were not getting along or to be relieved.
"So what's first Professor Payne?" Louis asked, leaning his body against the wall as he crossed his legs to become more comfortable.
"Well, we're going to start with the basics of chemistry," Liam said and handed a notebook to Louis. "This will be the notebook you use to take notes, and the page numbers I have written down you will read tonight and write down important points."
"That's a lot to read for my first day." Louis trailed on as he saw all that he had to read.
