A.N. Oh goodness gracious it's been so long since I've written anything, and I know it appeared as if I abandoned this site completely, but no! I was just on a long break, I had friends to attend to, and a family to be with. Many things got in the way of my writing, and more things will get in the way pretty soon, so hopefully it doesn't keep me from writing D:
Time had passed, and everyone was beginning to stress about tests. Dorm rooms, libraries, and caffeine were all they knew. Textbooks, pencils, pens, and notebooks were all they loathed. The internet was a haven of help, and release on occasion. Niall groaned out as he pushed away all his books from his bed, and laid there helplessly as his brain felt overworked and in dire need of a break. He needed to breathe; fresh-air was something he needed.
“Same.” Louis sighed, poking the back of his pen against his forehead. His brow knitted together as he concentrated the best he could, but the words to his textbook were beginning to mingle together and his eyes strained because of their small size. He rubbed at his eyes, trying to relax them, but there was no use.
“This is becoming ridiculous. We’re killing ourselves.” Niall left his bed, and wandered to the windows to open them. Spring was coming closer, and the snow was clearly gone, leaving a mess behind. Everything was wet, and March was not even half-way over yet.
“How many more months until summer?” Louis asked, the sudden need for sun and the ocean soaking his brain to a point where it felt as if it began to drown with lust. He needed many things, and summer was one of them, he also needed a break from all this studying.
“You do the math, I need to rest.” Niall frowned, and leaned his body against the screen to get more fresh air.
“You keep doing that and you’ll fall out.” Louis lazily warned, and flicked his pen across the room.
“Are you calling me fat?” Niall inquired, an amused smile on his face. So he still had the energy to smile.
“Well, you are what you eat.” Louis sighed, and closed his textbook. Relief washed over when the book was out of sight, and he leaned backwards to fall onto his back, resting his spine on the mattress.
“I’m food?” Niall then licked his arm to test that theory, but scrunched his nose with distaste when all he could taste was salt. Studying had obviously gotten to him.
“Did you just lick yourself?” Louis chuckled, watching Niall as he leaned his head back from its place on his pillow.
“Maybe . . .” Niall responded quickly, and smiled over to Louis. “What are your plans for break?”
“I don’t know, I’m thinking about traveling maybe?” Louis suggested. “Maybe somewhere warm.”
“I hate you.” Niall murmured, jealous that Louis could do something like that.
