I hiss at the ropes cutting into my skin. It's been days and my wrists were bruised and bleeding.
So far Philip or anyone has yet to lay a hand on me. My only injuries were my bleeding wrists and the gunshot wound they were kind enough to patch up.
I hadn't heard of Jackson or Cade, they refused to tell me anything. It was absolutely infuriating.
"Lord, I don't know much about you but I'm sure you know everything about me." I mumble. "I just...I pray that you'll help me out of this, I pray for your salvation-"
The door clicks open from behind me. "Well, what do we have here?" The voice wasn't Philip but it was eerily familiar. "Philip told me what had a new guest but I didn't expect this."
The person comes into my view, leaning against Philip's desk as he leers at me. "Casey?" I gasp.
"Hey Athena." Casey smirks. A dark purple bruise was formed under his left eye, his lip was cut right down the middle and he had a bandaged right across his forehead.
"Did-did they..." I mumble.
Casey scowls, giving me a light shrug. "Yes, it was Louis mostly but Donnie gave me the black eye when I almost broke Louis' arm." Casey steps forward, crouching in front of me. "They care alot about you..." He runs his hand up my arm.
"How did you get here? I thought you were locked up in the cabin." I flinch back from his touch, desperately wanting the conversation to change.
Casey scoffs, moving back to his feet. "After you were captured, we decided to move in on the cabin." I inhale sharply. Does that mean everyone else was captured? Or worse, dead.
"Both me and Isabel were saved and we almost had your friends, but they retaliated. We barely made it off with our lives, luckily we killed one of them."
I subconsciously gasp. "Who?"
Casey looks down at me, smirking. "Does it matter? You're not going to see any of them ever again anyway." Casey crouches next to me again, holding my hands tightly. "But don't worry, you have me now."
I flinch back. "I don't want you, I just want Kenny." I kick him back with my foot.
Anger flashes in Casey's eyes. He roughly grabs my chin. "I'd be careful if I were you, Philip loves you dearly and if finds out Kenny is your boyfriend... just guess who he'll target next."
I jerk my head back from his grip. "So he's still alive?" I raise a eyebrow.
Casey laughs. "Yes, your beloved partner is still alive. But we can change that." He reaches up to brush the hair out of my face.
"I'm not scared of you Casey. And Kenny's alot harder to get rid of than you realize." I snap.
Casey grins. A grin that made my heart stop. Something was off. "Nothing a little inside help wouldn't fix and-" Casey slaps his hand over his mouth, but even still I could see the smile tugging at his lips. "Oops, I said too much." He chuckles
"Are you saying there's a mole among my friends?" I ask.
Casey's face softens and he traces my jawline with his thumb. "I didn't say anything. How about we distract you for a bit?" He says, leering at me.
I stiffen as he moves closer. "Be patient Casey." I hear Philip say. He pats Casey's shoulder and goes to sit at his desk. "You'll have your shot soon enough."
Casey leans back, smirking at me. He moves to stand next to Philip. "So Athena? How are you?" Philip smiles at me.
"Where's Cade and Jackson?" I snap.
Philip raises a eyebrow. "Right to the point, I see how it is." Philip clears his throat. "Your friends are in very good hands darling, you shouldn't worry."
"Somehow I don't believe you." I narrow my eyes.
Philip laughs. "Weird, huh."
I huff. "What do you want with me?" I ask.
Philip tilts his head, looking me up and down. "I just want you." He gets to from his desk and moves over to me. "That's all I ever wanted. But I can't make you want me." Philip pulls out a small knife.
He grips my chin tightly, pressing the knife against my skin. I wince as the knife slits my cheek open and warm blood trickles down my neck and Philip's hand. "But there's no harm in trying."
Philip drags the knife down, making a big incision on my face and neck. I involuntary whimper. Philip lowers the knife, making cuts across my legs. "Please stop." I whimper.
"Not until you admit you love me and mean it." Philip smirks.
I try to kick him away but that only makes his knife dig deeper into my leg. "I won't ever love you!" I try to snap at him, but my voice came out weak and sad. "I just want my friends." I bit my lip to keep it from quivering.
Philip smiles. "Well, let's call them shall we?" He pulls out his phone, dialing a number. He places the phone against my ear.
After a couple seconds pass, I hear a familiar voice. "Hello?"
I couldn't stop the sob that crept up my throat. "Louis?" I question.
"Holy crap! Athena! Where are you? Are you okay?" I hear a small crash on Louis' end. "Hold on, I'm putting you on speaker."
I squeeze my eyes shut, allowing tears to slip down my cheeks, stinging my cut. "Louis, please I don't where I am but I just want to come home." I sob.
"Hey Athena, I know. We're working on it." Louis says.
"Thea, are you okay?" I hear Kenny ask.
I see Philip's grin only widen as I continue the conversation. "No... I'm-I'm scared. They keep hurting me, Casey and Phi-" Philip stabs my leg, digging the knife deep down into it. I let out a ear piercing scream.
Casey places a tape over my mouth, muffling me instantly. Philip removes the phone from my ear. "It would be wise for you to stay away." Philip says into the phone. "I may love her but I will kill her if I need to." He laughs.
Philip only laughs more as they say something to him. "She may not, but I will make her love me, one way or another." Philip looks up at me, caressing my cheek. He hangs up the phone, tossing it across the room.
He pulls the knife from my leg. I let out a muffled cry. "That was close, darling. You shouldn't reveal my identity like that...but I forgive you."
Philip moves to his feet, dropping his knife on the table. "I should let you rest my dear." He kisses my forehead before both him and Casey leave the room.
I hang my head, letting my emotions take over. I sob hard, no matter how much the tears hurt my cut.
