I check the address on the phone Donnie gave me. This was it. A cute, little light pink suburban house.

Interesting, not what I pegged for my actual father. Then again, I did look like someone who walked out of a Tim Burton film.

With a heavy sigh, I kick the car door open and climb out. It was an understatement to say I was scared.

I wanted this to go well but what if my dad didn't like me? Or my siblings.

Swallowing my fear, I lift my hand and softly knock on the door. A tall, older blonde woman swings open the door. "Yeah?" She says, too busy with filing her nails to even look up.

I clear my throat awkwardly. "Um, is a...is Marcus Kelly here?" I ask.

The lady sighs. "Yeah...Mark! There's a girl here to see you!" She yells, walking into the house. She pauses, looking at me. "Well? Come in. I ain't gonna have you standing out there in that heat. Especially with those clothes."

"Oh sorry." I slip into the house, gently closing the door behind me.

"Marcus!" She yells again.

"Can it wait?" I hear a male voice yell back.

The woman looks at me for confirmation. I shake my head. "No!" She yells.

"I'll be there in a minute!"

The lady rolls her eyes. "I apologize for my husband. He's always caught in his work." She reaches her hand out for me to shake. "Olivia. I'm Marcus' wife."

I quickly shake her hand. "Athena."

Olivia tilts her head, eyebrows raising. "Very unique name, I like. I prefer the more different names like that. If me and Marcus could have children, I would them something like that." She laughs, shaking her head lightly. "Fortunately I have my step-kids and their children to keep me busy."

I inhale sharply. "Yeah..."

Olivia tilts her head again. "What do you want with my husband anyway?"

I give her an awkward smile. "That's a little hard to explain." I shrug.

Olivia bites her lip, studying my face. "You're not his mistress, are you?"

I laugh. "Goodness, no!"

Olivia and I exchange a smile. "Well good, cause I'd have to kick you back outside and you seem like too nice of a woman to do that to." She winks at me.

"Alright Liv dear, who wanted to see me?" A tall man with salt and pepper colored hair asks while wiping his hands with a towel.

He glances towards me, pausing when we make eye contact. He mumbles something. "What was that dear? You need to speak up." Olivia tells him.

"Leah." He says.

Olivia's brow furrows as she stares at me. "Your late wife?" She questions.

I give them both a smile. "I'm not Leah but I am her daughter. My name is Athena."

Marcus studies me for a good minute. "Athena...why that's the name Leah wanted." I noticed a sudden shift in his face. "It really is you! You came back!"

Before I knew what was happening, Marcus had me wrapped up in a hug. "We assume you were dead like your mother. I've never been so happy to be wrong! Thank God!"

I wrap my arms around him tightly. A sense of safety overwhelmed me. Olivia grabs my arm once Marcus pulls back. "How did you find us?" She asks.

I laugh, wiping at the tears that started falling down my face. "My friend helped me, he's really great at that kind of stuff."
