Kenny gently nudges my head with his shoulder. "Hey sleepy, we're here." He tells me.

I slip my hand from his to rub my eyes. "And where is here?" I ask.

"Our base." Louis answers for Kenny. "No one knows about it, that we uh...know of." he shrugs, jumping out of the van.

"Woah." I mutter to myself as Kenny helps me out of the van. The place looks like a giant car garage with a stairway that lead to a balcony and bedrooms.

"Let's get him to our little infirmary." Donnie says, nodding towards Jackson. Donnie, Brynjar and Cade take Jackson into what could only be the infirmary.

"Athena!" Brittany appears out of nowhere to give me a hug. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry about what happened, I didn't mean any harm. I was just following Cade's advice and then they found us and I just panicked. I shouldn't have left you but I-I don't know what I was thinking." She says all in one breath.

My eyes widen at her. That was the most I've ever heard her talk. "It's fine Britt, really."

Brittany seemingly relaxes. "Oh, I'm so glad you're okay!" She hugs me again.

Kenny taps my shoulder. "Hey do you want to go get some more sleep?" He asks.

I shake my head. "No, I feel like I could use a shower." I lean into him, allowing him to wrap his arm around me.

I watch Louis jump over the side on the couch and sit down. Their living room was literally in the middle of the room.

"You can use my bathroom. Come on, I'll show you." Kenny grabs my hand and takes me up the stairs. He guides me into his room. "My bathroom is through there, I'll leave some clothes out for you."

I grab his jacket before he could leave. "Love you." I say, planting a kiss on his mouth.

Kenny smiles, running his hands through my hair. "I love you too. Now go take your shower, I'll be downstairs."

"Mkay." I hum.

After my shower, I changed into a hoodie and pair of sweats Kenny left for me and I ventured out of his room.

The downstairs was pretty quiet and empty. Donnie was leaning against one of the kitchen counters, playing on his phone and Julian was lounged on one of the couches, also on his phone.

I shove Julian's feet back so I could sit down. "I see you got a new phone." I smile.

Julian meets my gaze, smiling back. "Yeah, I got after you were taken. I guess the guys wanted to make sure they had someway to get a hold of me in case I get taken."

"Usually I just use Kenny's phone." I say, turning so I was fully facing him.

Julian shrugs. "I don't have a girlfriend or anything so..."

I pat his feet subconsciously. "Hey Julian, I'm sorry for hurting you. It's not what I intended to do. I really miss hanging out with you."

Julian laughs. "It wasn't really hanging out Athi, it was more trying to not get killed."

I huff, glancing up at the ceiling. "True, I got you wrapped up in all this." I look back down at him. "I'm sorry for that also."

Julian scoffs. "This is way more interesting than trying to make magazines. I'm happy you dragged me into all this. After all, we would've never met."

I sigh. "If only." I stick my tongue out at him and smile.

Julian smirks. "As for Ken, it was...hard to get used to, but he makes you happy so I'm happy."

I nod, frowning as I study him. "Hey Julian, can I-"

"A!" Jackson squeezes into the small space between me and the armrest. "What's up?" He grins at me.

"You must be feeling better." I gently elbow him.

Jackson laughs. "Donnie's got me on some painkillers right now. No doubt in a couple hours, I'll be losing the will to live."

I roll my eyes at him. "Don't say that." I laugh. "Hey, I actually got something to discuss with everyone, where are they?"

"Louis is in his room, Kenny's practicing his shooting and Brynjar is talking with Cade in the infirmary still." Donnie says, suddenly eating popcorn out of a plastic bowl.

Julian narrows his eyes. "When did you make that?" He asks.

Donnie freezes, staring at us. "Just now." He points to the microwave behind him. Julian clicks his tongue as he jumps over the side of the couch to grab a handful of popcorn.

Donnie swats his hand. "Hey knock it off July, this is for me." Julian ignores him and stuffs popcorn into his mouth.

"Which one is Louis' room?" I ask, hopping to my feet.

"Up the stairs and the door at the end of the balcony." Donnie says without looking up.

I head up the stairs to Louis' room. The door was ajar, so I politely knock on it while opening it a couple inches.

Louis looks up from his laptop. "Hey Athena, what's up?"

I move to the edge of his bed. "I need to talk to you about something." I tell him.

Louis moves his laptop to the side. "What did Kenny do? Don't...don't worry I can take it, do I need to uh drop him off the side of the...the uh road?" Louis raises a eyebrow.

I give him a look. "What? No, Kenny's been perfect."

Louis exhales slowly. "Good, cause I wouldn't uh, I wouldn't do that."

"It's about something Casey said to me." I awkwardly get out.

Louis tenses up. "What did he say? I'll kill him." He says, muttering the last part.

"It's not like that, he said something about someone here working with them." I say.

Louis swings his legs over the side of his bed and walks out of his room. "Like one of those people?" He asks me pointing down at our friends.

Julian and Donnie were in a full out popcorn war and Jackson was hiding under a blanket. Brynjar comes out of the infirmary and tackles Julian.

I step next to Louis, leaning against the railing. "I'm not saying it's true, but we definitely should be cautious, right?"

Louis sighs, rustling his hair. "Yeah, I guess there's no harm in that. Let me call a family meeting. We can discuss this more."
