Dreams taught me freedom.
-
George cant count how many times he's heard about this certain someone. Someone he's supposed to know, but has forgotten like memories, that he wanted to keep. This certain someone passed away, leaving them with said memories.

George forgot about him.
He's not sure how. Maybe the brunette was so sad, he locked everything up and didn't want to remember.
Everyone around him didn't want to help him finding out who that person was, or why he was so special to them.. special to
George.

All they told him was, that he was the closest to him, afraid of what the memories might do to the smaller.

He doesn't even know his name.
He has asked everything that involves him, but everyone seemed so damaged by it, so George dropped talking about him.

"Dude!", his best friend shouted. George looked at him, quite startled.
"You've been staring at the ocean for forever..", he said. His voice had something in it, that the brunette can't muster. Quite irritating. "Oh."

The ocean gave him a familiar feeling of warmth and nostalgia, which is why he loves it. He likes how the green and blue fade into each other, leaving an amazing view.

"Lets go, I still have to buy a new skateboard".
"What? Don't you already have one?"
Sapnap laughed and looked away in embarrassment, "I kind of broke it?" George scoffed, "You're ass at skateboarding". "I'm not!I just got a little careless", Sapnap shot back.

The 19-year-old swung one arm around the other's neck covering George's sight to the ocean, pulling him into a side hug. "Stop staring at the water and lets gooooo".
"Okaay."

George looked at the different designs on the boards, admiring how unique they are.

He watched Sapnap looking at the different boards, before the smaller made his own way, looking for something, that would fit the other. Flames was his main objective to find, since the taller was obsessed with them.

He looked around, but couldn't find any, that would fit Sapnap's taste and personality, but one caught his eye specifically. It was green and had a white smile on it, with the word "EMillion" above it. He guessed, that it was the brand. It wouldn't fit Sapnap at all, but it felt familiar.

It felt like a summer breeze with unforgettable moments. He examined the board and tried to figure out what made it feel that way. Suddenly he saw blonde strands brushing past him. His surroundings feeling a lot different, as he found himself in a skatepark, the sun setting.

The memory ended as soon as it started, making George confused.

His curiousity got interrupted as Sapnap nervously stepped in front of him, covering the EMillion skateboard. "George", Sapnap spoke up. "What do you think of this board?". He held up a black and red checkered skateboard. "Yeah, looks cool." "Really? I had a similar one back when- uhh when I started. Yeah." George watched him with confusion, wondering why he stuttered, but Sapnap's face held nothing suspicious in it, just his stupid smile.

Sapnap smiled often and it comforted George. The younger was always there for him.

George smiled back at Sapnap, catching the other off guard, but he accepted it. He swung one arm around the smaller,"You're handsome, when you smile, George. I've missed it." George looked up at him, as Sapnap just smiled. "Lets gooo, this board doesnt buy itself, slow ass. I really want to try it out." George watched him going to the cashier, as he followed right after. "Not today though, I ain't coming. I'm tired." Sapnap paid for the board. "You always sleeep. Go out and live, dude. We're still young." George raised an eyebrow. "I'm 24." "That's still young."

"No." "Yes." "No." "Yes." "Nooo." "Yess, shut up." "No, you shut up." "Fine."

They walked out of the store, the hot breeze immediately hitting their faces. It was calming.
He spent the day with his best friend and was really happy that he did, but all he could think about was his boyfriend back home in his sweet dreams. With that, he decided he'd go home for the day and say his goodbyes to Sapnap, which he did. Sapnap offered to hang out again, which George hesitantly agreed to.

George couldn't wait to sleep.
