Lava

Strangely, Staple seemed to be running away from the fire. "OOHH YES WHY AM I RUNNING AWAY FROM IT"

"So they're afraid of fire, interesting." Match said.

The fire began spreading on the whole floorboard. Match could see that Staple was getting burned. She pressed the fire button again to stop the fire. She looked at the green staple.

"So if they're partially destroyed, they don't recover. Let's see what happens when it's fully destroyed!" Match said. She pressed the button marked "lava".

The room began filling up with loads of lava. "WHY DO YOU EVEN HAVE THIS BUTTON?" Bandana screamed. He was hyperventilating a bit.

"Well, we have so much lava." Grain said. He said that casually, like it was reasonable to most objects.

Staple began drowning in the whole lava pit. "THIS IS WHAT I WANTED YES DEATH-" she stopped. Match touched the button again, and the lava began draining from pipes on the ground. Now the floor wasn't lava, they could see that Staple had been disintegrated into nothing.

"Now, we wait for her to respawn." Match said.

Sure enough, Staple respawned from the respawning center. "What happened? I felt like I was controlled to not die. Anyways, let's do that again!"

"Match, so you've got something?" Pencil asked.

"Yes, I found a loophole! Incompletely destroying the object makes them still in the object, but if they get completely destroyed, and they set their spawn point, which is automatic by the way, they'll respawn without the parasite!" Match said.

"Well, what do we do then?" Pencil said.

"Well, it's simple. We need to get rid of the bodies, and it doesn't mean burying them. It means reduced to nothing." Match said.

"How do we completely kill the objects then?" Pencil asked.

"I don't know exactly. Hey wait, Grain, do you have leftover lava?"

"You'll have to talk to Droney." Grain said.

"Come with me to the leftover lava room. There might be some leftover lava."

Droney guided them to a door saying: Lava Room: Objects are advised to wear hazmat suits. Next to the door was a closet full of hazmat suits and a water fountain. "It's best you water yourself. We only have hazmats for objects who work here." Droney said as he put on a suit. Match and Pencil both put some water on them.

"Can I stay out? I don't like getting myself wet." Bandana said.

"Sure. Wait for us outside then." Match said.

The three objects went into a room that had a metal walkway with multiple metal scoopers. Some other stuff was also lying around. Lava was under the metal walkway.

"So, if you need any lava, just hold out a metal scooper here, and scoop some lava into some buckets here." Droney said. He took a bucket out of the pile of stuff behind him.

"I have a pretty large metal bag, would that work?" Pencil said.

"Well, theoretically metal should keep them in, so I guess you can." Droney said.

"Wait just a minute, I'll go back and grab it!" Pencil said.

She ran back to her house. She found her bag and an envelope from someone who wanted to invite her to eat something. She took the metal bag and memorized the address of the envelope.

"Got it!" she said, running through the door.

"Wow, that's a large bag!" Match exclaimed.

"So, if it touches metal, it's fine right?" Pencil asked.

"Yeah. Now you scoop it like this..."

                                                      ***

"Done!" Match said. They had scooped the lava into the now full bag. Ironically, they didn't even make a dent in it.

"We should go now, the water on me is evaporating fast." Pencil said.

"Alright." Match said. She was also almost to the point of burning.

They tied the bag and brought it out of the lava room. Bandana quivered when they saw him. I mean, it's not like you see a giant bag of lava being hauled around every day. They put the bag on top of Match's car, since the bag was too large to put in the car.

"Pencil, should we let him stay in your house?" Match asked. "Maybe he can do something for us later."

"I don't know Match, I only have, like one spare bed." Pencil said.

"Don't worry. I remember you have sleeping bags in the closet. I can sleep on the floor." Match said.

"Alright. I'll ask him." Pencil said. She went to talk to Bandana. "Uhh, Bandana, can you stay with us for the night? We might need you to save others."

"Sure! Thank you!" Bandana said, gratefully. "It's an honor to work with you!" He was clearly elated.

"Ok, we should get back now." Match said. "It's getting pretty late, and we need to make out a plan with this lava."

"Well, you can drive Bandana and yourself back. Somebody told me to do something." Pencil replied.

"Ok." Match said. "Wait, how'll I open the door?"

"Well, I could give you my keys." Pencil said. "Just open the door for me when I come back."

"Sure." She told Bandana to get in the car, and she drove it back to Match's house.

"So, tomorrow we'll come up with a plan to help them, okay?" Match said.

"Ok!"

"Well, you can either do some stuff or sleep. You probably didn't bring anything, right?"

"Well, I do have this book." He took out a book from his invisible pockets. "It's a great book called Vanilla written by Road D."

"Yeah, I know that book." Match said. "Well, you can read it now. Just go to sleep when you're sleepy."

Bandana ran into the spare room. Match sighed. The lava plan would definitely involve a whole lot of killing, and she didn't know if Bandana was up for the task. She needed to convince him to be okay with it to save the whole city and his friend, Matty. Of course, that is if their plan worked. When no one was looking, she took some metal from a box of scrap metal. She knew Pencil had a toolbox, but she had to wait for tomorrow.

                           ***

The doorbell rang. Match opened the door to Pencil. "How'd it go?" Match asked.

"Well, some object asked me to eat steamed clams, but he said it was a typo and then he gave me steamed hams. Crazy, right?" Pencil replied.

"Yeah." Match said. "Say, do you have to do anything tomorrow?"

"Nah, I've got the whole day off. Why?"

"Well, I might need to use your toolbox to make some metal boxes. You've got a welder, right?"

"No, but Controller and Wrench from Car Repair might have one. I do have a metal cutter though."

"I was thinking of making metal suits for everybody, and lava containers to pour or something like that."

"You mean like a squirt gun?"

"Maybe. I need to draw a plan for this." Match said. They spent the rest of the night drawing the plans for the suits, the containers and the tubes.

"Huh..... we should go sleep now." Pencil yawned.

"Ok." Match said. The next day, she'd try and cut all of the metal, and do some other stuff. She got the sleeping bag out of the closet, and she went to sleep. After all, it's gonna be a tiring day.

Sorry I couldn't get this out sooner, lot's of school work. Anyways, find 4 references if you want.
