I awoke the morning, cold and in extreme amounts of pain. Slowly rolling onto my side, I tried to remember what had happened the night before. I let out a tear of pain, sadness and worry. My head pounded. What was the point in anything? Staying alive? Loving Liam? Anything? The answer is there isn't a point. I tried to sit up, so I could look who was around. To my surprise, Liam was sat in a chair next to my bed fast asleep. I thought to myself: 'He wouldn't realize if I pulled the drip out right now, I'd be out of everyone's way...' I hit my head with my fist, in desperation. 'Why am I thinking this?'

Where did I go wrong?

*Flashback*

'Please don't cry!' Louis' lip quivered. I knew that it was killing him as much as it was killing me.

'I can't help it, Boobear. I'll miss you so much.' I was aware that tears were running down my cheeks. His arms grasped my body, hugging me tight.

'I'll miss you too, I don't want you to leave!' He managed to speak in between his sobs. We stood standing in silence for a few moments, before I plucked up the courage to speak.

'I love you,' I whispered. It was so quiet, I thought that he hadn't heard. But I was wrong. He pushed away from the hug, and looked into my eyes.

'I love you too, forever and ever, Hazza.' He kissed my nose, leaving a few teardrops behind.

*End of Flashback*

I shook my head, trying to forget my childhood memories, my Boobear, and my previous life. As much as I tried, the memories wouldn't leave my brain. I reached for my phone and checked the time. 07:43. Placing the phone on the bedside table, I glanced up at the figure standing in my room.

'Sorry-' She glanced up to the whiteboard to see my name. 'Mr. Styles.' She smiled apologetically, realizing she hadn't knocked.

'No, it's fine. And call me Harry.' I felt my face go red as my morning voice escaped my lips. She blushed too.

'I-I just came in to check your blood pressure, and temperature - if that's okay.' I nodded, avoiding any more embarrassment  from my croaky voice. I looked up at her. My eyes didn't recognise her features, she must have been new to the ward. Her blond hair was clipped into a messy bun, high on her head. Meanwhile, her eyes were planted directly at the machine that was attached to my arm. She was pretty cute. If I didn't have really bad self-confidence, and if I didn't like Liam as much as I did, I would have asked for her number. But of couse, there's the question: 'Why would she say yes to someone like me?' I suppose that's the good thing about being bisexual; you see love and beauty in both boys and girls. I'd only ever had one other girlfriend, and she only asked me out as a dare. It lasted for about a week, before the whole school laughed at me for being so 'stupid', 'pathetic' and 'desperate'. The sad thing is, is that I really liked her, and I had thought that she liked me too.  Obviously, I'll never know what "love" really means.

My thoughts came climbing back into my head. 'Louis had warned me...' I had to stop thinking about him, he wasn't my... friend now.

'Everything seems to be in order. Is there anything I can get you? Are you hurting? Do you need any painkillers?' She seemed generally curious, as if she cared. As if it wasn't just her job. Unlike the other nurses, from yesterday.

'Yeah, can I have a few, please?' I managed to squeaze the sentence through my pale lips. The words came out gental and slow.

'Sure, darling.' She left, opening the curtain carefully, trying not to disturb Liam.
