Chapter Six

I can't believe I've written up to Chapter Six already:O. Thanks for all of the votes and comments and reads. I can't thank you enough:D I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while - I haven't been able to get Internet connection while I was in hospital. I come home at the weekends now, so hopefully I'll be posting more:D

Liam gazed up at me, eyes wide. It was now 10:28, he had woken up just moments earlier. 

'So what happens now?' He asked me, curiosity filled the room.

'Go to school, don't worry about me.' I mumbled, managing to look at Liam's face. 'It's not your fault that this happened to me.'

He looked taken aback, as if someone had just insulted him. 'I know it wasn't my fault, but it wasn't yours either. I wanted to make sure you were okay. It's what any fr-' He paused, trying to pick out the right words. 'It's what any decent person would do.' He could obviously see the pain in my eyes. He deliberately didn't say 'friend' because we weren't friends. He was just doing the 'decent thing'. Pictures came into my head of Liam and his friends laughing about what happened to me, the word 'pathetic' came to mind.

'I-I didn't mean to...' His words trailed off. He had more important things on his mind. Probably his girlfriend for one. I gained a knot in my stomach and I felt sick all of a sudden. His phone rang and he sighed. 'I'll just go. See you around Styles.'

My pillow began to get wet as the day continued. 'He was just like the rest of them.' I thought. 'He didn't care, he's probably laughing about me right now.' Whatever words they described me as were true. I was an idiot. I was stupid. I was a faggot. What else can my stupid life bring?

*Liam*

My phone began to get wet as I continued to walk to my car. My tears wouldn't stop falling. I had just left an innocent boy alone in a hospital bed. What was going to happen now? I was asleep while the doctors had visited the ward. Only Harry knew what was happening. Was he going to have an operation? Or worse? Or was everything OK? Or had they found something else? 'Calm down Liam,' I told myself. 'You're just panicking. Breath...' 

My legs shifted as I got into my cold car. I turned on the radio. 'We Found Love' by Rihanna came on. Mine and Danielle's song. I smiled, remembering last summer together.

*Liam's Flashback* 

I stared into Danielle's eyes without a care in the world. Love was the only emotion I was feeling. She giggled.

'What's so funny?' I asked smiling along with her.

'This is the last day of our first summer. It's been the best summer of my life.' She whispered.

The crashing waves were getting closer and closer. I deeply inhaled the smells of the sea, but could only grasp the scent of nearby seaweed. Danielle noticed me, and tried not to laugh. I felt her warm breath on my neck.

She began to put a baby-voice on. 'Does little Liam not like the smell of the big bad seaweed?' I smiled, knowing where this was going.

'Maybe...' I winked at her, standing up. 'Lets go and get something to eat.'

'Sure,' Her smile was genuine as I held out my hand to help her up. She got to her feet and quickly tugged at her long, flowing dress. I grinned looking down at her beautiful toes that were covered in sand.

'Hey!' She playfully hit my arm. 'Stop staring at my toes!'

I let out a small laugh, gently tugging her arm to guide her to my car. All around us there were trees and fairy lights. The whole place looked magicial as we walked hand-in-hand. As we reached the car, I sighed. Danielle quickly glanced up at me, wondering what the matter was.

'What?' Danielle asked, curiously.

'You mean the world to me, Danielle.' I whispered into her curly hair. She giggled, her face glowing red. She stopped, looking down the hill to the crashing waves, they were only slightly visible now. Her face turned to me again.

'Forever and ever, Liam.' She beamed.

'Wait here, I have a surprise for you!' I quickly hopped to the driver's side of the car and placed the keys into the ignition. Grabbing my phone out of my pocket, I checked the time. '5:28, two minutes...' I thought to myself. I turned on the music, and tuned it into Radio 1. I left the door open as I edged my way out of the car, so we could both hear the radio station. Smiling, I gave Danielle a hand up so we were sitting on the bonnet.

'What's the surprise?' She smiled.

'You'll find out in less than a minute,' I rested my head on the window and Danielle joined me.

The radio finally played what I was waiting for. 'Ok, now we have a special announcment from a Liam Payne to his girlfriend, Danielle Peazer. Awh how sweet. He says: Danielle, you are my life, my world, and I hope you never forget that. You mean everything to me, and I'll love you always.'

'Liam!' She grabbed me into a hug.

'That's not all, baby, wait a second.' I replied into her ear.

'And now for the happy couple; we found love.'

Danielle shot up. 'This is my favourite song! I love you so much Liam.'

'I love you too, and it's actually our song.' I smiled, kissing her.
