The four students turned away from Ijichi, walking in the direction of their destination.

"Be careful," Ijichi warned them. "I'll put up my veil." The man started to mutter words, and the four students looked up to see a dark veil being cast over the area.

"Huh? Day's turning into the night!" Yuji said in amazement.

"That's part of the veil. Since there's a residential area nearby, we use it to conceal us from those on the outside," Megumi explained.

"Awesome!"

"Moron," Nobara said.

"Sei, isn't this cool?!" Yuji said, grasping the girl's arm and shaking her.

"Sure," the girl replied, not caring in the slightest.

Megumi put his hands together, gaining their attention. "Demon dogs." Suddenly a large white dog bubbled up from the ground. It howled like a wolf, shining brightly. "He'll let us know if the curse gets close."

"Aw, good boy! What a good boy," Yuji said, petting the side of the dog's face. "You know, we're all counting on you."

"Sei, can you give me a hand?" Megumi asked, nodding his head to the door. Seiko nodded, pulling the left door handle at the same time he pulled the right.

The doors creaked open loudly, adding to the creepy aura.

"Let's go." Megumi's demon dog walked inside the place first, the others following.

The four of them and the demon dog started to run, searching left and right for any survivors.

"Hold up," Megumi called, holding his left arm out. Seiko stopped beside him, the other two stopping behind them.

Yuji and Nobara gasped, the latter speaking. "What the hell is this?"

The four of them stared up at the large building, which was rusted and damaged. Seiko glanced around discreetly, feeling the presence of strong curses nearby.

"What's going on here?" Yuji said worriedly. "I thought this was only a two-story dorm building, isn't it?"

"W...Well, maybe it's a condo!" Nobara said lightly. "Chill out!"

Megumi clenched his jaw, the worry settling in. No, it's not. It's the deployment of an innate domain due to cursed energy, I've never seen one this big before. Megumi tensed up suddenly, glancing behind him. "The door!"

All of them turned to look, finding that Megumi was right. The door was missing completely as if it was never there, to begin with.

"Hey, it's gone! Impossible!" Yuji said worriedly.

"No way!" Nobara fretted. "We just came through that door a second ago!"

The two suddenly started dancing in a circle. "What do we do, what do we do, it's a major problem."

"We'll be fine," Megumi said with a frown. "The dog remembers the scent of the entrance."
