"Sir, I've completed my mission."

Dark, midnight orbs pierced through a woman, who was clad head-to-toe in black. Her stance was firm and confident, yet her voice held a quiet tremble that only the man in front of her could make out. She didn't dare lookup. Looking into his eyes was a sin that gave the worst punishments.

"Report," demanded a low and husky voice.

The young man held a glass of whiskey in his right hand. He was focused on his drink, watching as he swirled the liquid around in the cup.

"Subject A's location has been acquired. Subject A is in--"

"Jujutsu Tech," he interrupted with a flat tone. "I'm well aware. Is that the only information you have on her?"

The girl gulped. The sharp tone of her boss never failed to send unwanted chills down her spine. At least she wasn't the only one that felt that way. Every person was scared of him. "Subject A has been found to have close relations with Fushiguro Megumi and Itadori Yuji. It is unconfirmed whether Subject A had a romantic relationship with either." She continued. "There were large waves of cursed energy in the forest that Geto Suguru had sealed Subject A in. It was tested and recognized as the cursed energy of Subject A. It is Subject A's cursed technique given years before."

He continued to swirl his cup in circles. None of this information was new to him, yet he decided to try anyway. "What of Gojo Satoru? Have you found any leads on him?"

She shook her head. "No, sir. We haven't spotted him recently, at all. It's also been hard to spot Subject A, over the past few days. Subject A has completely disappeared the first moment we spot Subject A."

"I see," Raiden muttered in reply. He knew why. Raiden knew all of the reasons. Why they were cautious, why they put up barriers, and why they were spending almost all of their time together.

Because they knew their time together was slowly running out.

"Ha," breathed the man. "That bastard...how dare he think he can take what isn't his?" He knew that the two had a past relationship--an arranged marriage. There wasn't anything that Gojo had that he didn't. In many ways, that was true.

Raiden was considered one of the strongest jujutsu sorcerers. Yes, he hid in the shadows. Yes, he used others to fight for him. But if he did fight himself, the world would have ended in chaos, and then some. Rather than raging head-first, Raiden planned every one of his moves strategically. Never had someone out-thought him, nor managed to fool him. Never. And he didn't plan on it.

"Subject A hasn't shown any weakness in any way, sort, or form. Subject A seems to have become even more powerful than we could have imagined. It's possible that she--" The girl's voice trailed off when she spotted movement.

With an exaggerated sigh, Raiden stood up. "None of your information has been beneficial to me," he said boredly. Raiden placed his glass of whiskey down and hopped down one of the steps that led to the platform. His mood had slightly plummeted at the failure of his spies. Though, he wasn't surprised. It wasn't the first time, after all. "Tell me, how have you been tracking her?"

"We've trailed her for the past few months she's been at Jujutsu Tech." She was hesitating a bit. She had to be careful with her words now, knowing that Raiden was beginning to get irritated with the news she brought.
