On the farm, Ev'ry Friday.
On the farm, It's rabbit pie day.
Today was 'Rabbit pie day' We'll thats what my father calls it... Any rabbit on our property, He doesn't care if it's a hybrid or not. He will cook it...
So ev'ry Friday that ever comes along,
I get up early and sing this little song.
I went out onto the porch, There is no way i'm eating another rabbit... I feel horrible. That's all father feeds us on Friday though... But if there's no rabbits to hunt? He has to make something else!
So I started my song as to try and warn rabbits not to come onto this property.
Run rabbit, Run rabbit, Run, Run, Run.
~Dreams POV~
Run rabbit, Run rabbit, Run, Run, Run.
I was in a rabbit form to fit in with the rabbits I was with. They weren't hybrids but, since I was a rabbit I could understand them. Then I heard a kid singing, The rest of the rabbits couldn't understand him....
BANG BANG BANG BANG goes the farmers gun!
There was a gun shot...it killed the rabbit right next to me. Me being the dumb and starving rabbit hybrid I am I went further into the garden hiding in the bushes..
Run rabbit, Run rabbit, Run, Run, Run,
I continued sneaking around... I needed food. For me and my little brother... I saw the carrot patch and quickly made my way over there the kid looked terrified when his father gave him the rabbit he had just shot... 'poor kid...'
Run rabbit, Run rabbit, Run, Run, Run.
I'll give it too the kid...He's very persistent. And I'm happy he doesn't want us to get shot.. But without this food we will just die from starvation at some point. Just a slower death.
Don't give the farmer his Fun, Fun, Fun! He'll get by! Without his rabbit pie..
I grabbed 3 carrots by the tops and started to drag them away making my escape finally listening to the kid. This won't last long but...I don't want him to get in trouble with his father...
So Run rabbit! Run rabbit! RUN! RUN! RUN!
The kid yelled at me as his father was coming over to the garden, I booked it out of there I lost one carrot while jumping through the fence. As I was running, I could here the farmer loading his gun but continued running. I ran past all the other bunnies in the forest and straight to a tree, That's where I had my burrow. "Luke?" I squeaked out, He rathers be called Punz.
Punz is my older brother, He broke his arm while in his human form. So he has a broken paw in his rabbit form. Which is why I'm going to get food. I dragged the carrots down, And I left them right in from of him.
"The kid is trying to make us stop so we won't die... One rabbit died right next to me." I quietly squeaked out.
"DayDream! Just let me go out there I'm fine! You can't keep risking your fur on me!" He hit me in the head with his other paw. I looked down, I dragged one carrot to the other side of the burrow.
~The next Friday~
I was running back to the carrot patch... I only need 6 carrots for the day. If I carry 3 at a time I only have to make two trips! And i'm alone so maybe I won't be as noticeable. I didn't listen to the kids words all that much I just know he was telling us to run.
I was in the carrot field and I had two carrots out of the ground working on the third. Then the kid started yelling again.
Run rabbit, Run rabbit, Run, Run, Run.
I ignored him for now and got the last carrot, I ran to the fence and threw them through the fence one by one.
Run rabbit, Run rabbit, Run, Run, Run!
I could here his father in the house he was getting his gun again.. Oh god.. Now i kinda wish I wasn't alone. But ignoring those thoughts I ran back to the carrot field and continued picking 3 more carrots...
BANG BANG BANG BANG goes the farmers gun!
They had all missed me... Either I am one lucky rabbit or He has a bad shot.
~Tubbo's POV~
RUN RABBIT, RUN RABBIT, RUN, RUN, RUN!
I screamed out.... There was a lone rabbit...There's no way it's going to escape unless it listens to me! I felt myself on the verge of tears.
I saw my father loading his gun again..
RUN RABBIT, RUN RABBIT, RUN, RUN, RUN!
Oh no no no no! The rabbit isn't moving! FUCK!
Don't give the farmer his Fun, Fun, Fun! He'll get by! Without his rabbit pie!!
I was now crying out the words. My father looked at me for a moment before focusing his gaze on the lonely bunny...
So Run rabbit! Run rabbit! RUN! RUN! RU-
The last word was cut off by three loud bangs... I covered my eyes not wanting to see the rabbit dead.. I heard my father walking back up to me. He dropped the rabbit right in front of me, But when I opened my eyes and he looked down...
That rabbit...Was a hybrid... It- It...
~Punz POV~
I was sitting outside the fence I saw three carrots then right inside there was two carrots pulled out. I hobbled into the garden. There was blood on the carrots...
I looked to the front porch and saw a body... I started running... When I was almost at the porch I turned into my human form. I checked his pulse not caring about the two humans beside me.
He's dead.
