Austin pov

we've buried Beth the funeral was heart breaking, after that we hit the road to get Noah back home

-cut scene-

"are you really transgender Austin?" Carol asks out of the blue and i'm lucky that it's just her and Daryl "uh- well yeah, why would i lie about that?" i answer "serious?" Daryl says "dead. serious. got a problem with it?" i say hoping he doesn't hit me "nah jus didn't knows all, though ya just had a small dick" he says and i start blushing like crazy "why are you looking at my groin, hmmmm?" i ask him "if ya haven't noticed your shorts aren't that long sunshine" he tells me, i swear i'm as red as a tomato right now "so your checking me out now? that's kinda gay man" i say trying to keep my voice from squeaking "maybe" he says as he gets up. Carol and i share the same look as we watch him leave in shock "that's new" she says

-cut scene-

Rick, Michonne, Glenn, and Noah got back with Tyrese's body after finding Noah's old home was run down and filled with the dead. two funerals in less that 3 days isn't good for our group.

-cut scene-

it's been 3 or 4 weeks i think. the van ran out of gas so now we're walking aimlessly down the road. "can i hold Judie?" i ask Rick and he hands her over with a nod as we walk he talks to Daryl "we're not at our strongest, we'll get em when it's best, high ground somethin like that, they're not goin anywhere... it's been 3 weeks since Atlanta, i know you lost something back there" Daryl looks at Judith in my arms "she hungry" he says to avoid what Rick was telling him "she's okay, she's gonna be okay" Rick tells him "we need to find water, food" Daryl tells him i don't hear what Rick says after that i just start to zone out something about rain maybe i zone back in when when Daryl says he's gonna head out to find something and i hand Judie back to rick "can i go with you?" i ask Daryl, he just nods  and we walk into the woods

-cut scene-

"anything?" Carol asks "naw it's too dry, there ain't nothin here" he says "maybe we should start back" she tells us "you go" he says mainly to her "i think she saved my life, she saved your life too, right?" Carol tells him for a second i dont know what she's saying, Beth, it must be her she's talking about, she hands him a knife "it was hers" she tells him and he takes it "we're not dead, it's what you said. your not dead, you know, you are different, i can't let myself- but you, i know you you have to let yourself feel it." she tells him and they go quiet till she gives him a motherly kiss on the forehead "you will" she says as she starts walking away.

-cut scene-

me and Daryl come back at what seems like the right time, the group is all fighting walkers. once it's over i check for wounds as i have more than enough medical supplies in my bag. i patch up Abe's arm where Sasha cut him.

-cut scene-

Daryl and i are back out in the woods, this time no Carol just us. "y'know if i woulda known a cute doctor would patch me up i woulda let Sasha cut me too" he tells me "hey do get too frisky on me, if we aren't back soon they'll get suspicious baby" i tell him and he goes red from the nickname

-cut scene-

we walk back making as much noise as needed to make sure the others know it's us. we sit down next to rick, before we say anything a pack of wild dogs jumps out of the woods and Sasha shoots them. Rick starts breaking sticks 'i guess we're eating dog tonight' i think to myself

-cut scene-

the others talk amongst themselves until Glenn turns to us with a water bottle "Austin, Daryl" he try's to hand it to us "i'm good" i tell him, Daryl just shakes his head "guys come on" Glenn says "don't" Daryl tells him "hey, we can make it together but we can only make it together." Glenn says and and walks a head. "tell em we're out lookin for water" Daryl says to Aberhamm and drags me into the woods with him.
