chapter nine

I looked in the mirror at myself, wow, I looked beautiful I always thought of myself as ugly. The swimsuit really made my sunshine yellow eyes pop.

"Emma you ready, wow emma I love the swimsuit." Kitty said.

"Yea I'm ready, just let me get my flip flops." I grabbed and oversized top, and put it on.

"Ok when we get there be cool, I noticed earlier today you were a bit nervous, and it was kind of awkard." Kitty told me.

"Got it kitty."

"And don't call me kitty its so childish you know." She said.

"Oh." I thought she liked the nickname kitty, guess not.

"Get out, we're here." When we got there the sun was just about to set, the sky was a beautiful pink.

I took off my flip flops, the sand was cool. I looked back at katie who was looking at me with disgust, "why don't you thank off your flip flops."

"Uh no." She said with an attitude.

"I'm not about to ruin my pedicure." She said lifting up her leg, and pointing at her toes, they were a pretty light pink, it matched her bikini.

"Really Katherine." Mike said, shaking his head.

"What don't you people understand my name is katie, not kitty, and not katherine." She shouted.

Everbody turned, there wasn't a lot of people there, just stephen, leah, john, luke, jake, and four other people.

Katie looped her arm through my arm, and immediatly dragged me over to her friends.

"Hey tasha, this is emma."

All the guys whsitled when they saw me, I looked around for luke, but he was in the water already, I could barely see him. All the girls glared at me, as if to say what does she have that I don't have.

I just slipped my over sized tshirt on, and grabbed my towel and sat down on it.

Katies pov

She thinks she looks so pretty, I'll show her. I took off my cover up, and just sat on the beach towel. There was a lot of whistiling more than emma, I turned to see if she was watching when I noticed she wasn't I got up and walked away. My toes should be dry by now so I took off my heels, yes heels and walked over to jake.

Emmas pov

I watched as katie got up, what ws her problem? She looked mad, I just got up to, but walked to the shore, I sighed. Katie was so different so, I hate to say it but a total.. my thoughts were interuppted when stephen came by me.

"Hey." He said smiling wickedly. What was he up to.

"Oh hi." I said smiling.

"So your katies cousin, what was she like as a kid."

"Well.." I started, when someone came behind me, and pulled off my bikini top, I turned to see john laughing, I slapped him, his face was read everyone heard it and turned around I quickly put my shirt on, and ran to katie.

"Katie I want to go home." I said almost in tears, but she was too busy kissing jake to notice I was there, I ran to the car.
