chapter fourteen

"Late." Said a man looking up from his text book. He had gray hair with a huge bald spot at the top, he wore a white button up, and khaki pants, his eyes a dull brown.

"Oh sorry." I looked for an open seat and smiled when I saw it was behind luke, but then groaned when I noticed it wass infront of jake, and across from stephan. I dragged my feet to. My seat, and pulled out my notebook, I began to doodle not focusing on the lesson. Someone passed by me and dropped a letter on m desk, I looked back to see a boy he had curly brown hair, and beautiful light blue eyes, he winked at me. I turned back around and looked at the piece of folded paper, I opened it up, and read. My eyes grew big.

Do you want to go out.

Really wow boys are so ugh they see a new toy, they want it I just got here and someone is already trying to ask me out. I wrote a two letter word on the paper

He walked back, and looked at it he crumbled it up and threw it on the ground.

"No note passing, ms. Emma, pick it up mr. Chad." Said the teacher.

I just couldn't wait till this class was over, just then the bell ruung, I immediatly grabbed my stuff and ran out.

Where to next oh french, "hey emma wait up." Lizz was running after me.

"Oh hey lizz do you have french next."

"Yea, come on I'll show you the way." We linked arms as she led me to french.

We walked in, "bonjour madame." I said.

"Bonjour comme ca va." Said the teacher to me, she was a short lady with a waif figure, blonde hair green eyes, she seemed strict.

"Ca ve comme ci comme ca." I replied.

"Tres bien madmoiselle..."

"Emma, je m'appalle emma." I said.

The teacher smiled, "class we could all learn from emma." She said in a heavy french accent.

"Teachers pet much." Someone said the whole class erupted in laughter, I blushed from embarrasment.

"Class please, you may sit here emma." She pointed to a seat next to lizz.

I looked to see who made the joke, it was one of katies friend rosaline.

When school was over jazz offered me a ride, I decided to take it, so it was me jazz, lizz, and ella.

"So how was your first day of school." Ell said.

"Horrible." I said thinking about the events, "turn in here."

"You live here." Lizz said her mouth hanging open.

"Ohmg I live right down the street maybe I'll come see you sometime." Jasmine said.

"You live there." Lizz said to jasmine.

"well well well look what the cat drug in." Said natasha. She walked in the front.

"What is tasha doing at your house?" Asked lizz.

"Nosey much." Elanore said laughing.

"Probably here to see katie." I said.

"Wait wait wait back track it girl." Jasmine said. Shakng her head.

I told them that I lived eith katie because she's my cousin.

"Katie is your cousin, oh my god." Her chin dropped.

I just shrugged, and waved bye, I ran up to my room to find jake on my bed, stephan in my closet, john watching my tv, and luke was where was he.

'What the heck, give me that." I said snatching up my stuff.

"Out get out." When they didn't move. I shouted. "Now!." They ran out.

"You don't belong here." I looked up to see katie.

"What happened to you katie, why are you acting like this." I said almost in tears.

"What happened to me, you left and I had to man up, and this is me. So why don't you get used to it. Now be a good girl and go back home!" She screamed, and walked out slamming my door.

Katies pov

I walked down to the second floor, and stopped at mikes door, I could hear them talking.

"Dude your cousins hot." I heard stephan say.

"Yea, ok so the deals on." I heard jake said.

"Yeah...." mike said he paused "just don't do anything to hurt emma." He said. I acted as if I heard nothing, and walked down the stairs again to the livving room. This was just crazy I mean really all of the sudden she's the new shiny toy. I walked into the kitchen, and bumped into luke, I then smirked he was part of my plan at getting to emma, but he didn't know it.

"So luke, I was wondering to you want to go to the movie saturday.?" I asked batting my eyelashes.

"You mean like tomorrow ssaturday." He said this was going to be easy.

"Yea."

"Is emma coming?"

I scowled, but immediatly smiled and turned to him. "Of course."

"Ok then pick you two up at sven."
