jaemin couldn't escape the question that followed him around everywhere he went like a curse.
every single day he was asked the same thing, 'what had happened to renjun?' when the last thing he wanted to do was think about that traumatizing day when he thought he had discovered a corpse.
he got chills up his spine whenever he thought about anything that had to do with that day, because the thought of if whether he had gotten there earlier or later weighed heavy on his shoulders and that was what haunted him like a sick curse.
he shouldn't be feeling responsible for the condition the chinese boy is in, but he couldn't help but to feel like it was his fault renjun's in a death sleep.
if he had gone straight to renjun's house without arguing with jeno right before, renjun wouldn't be as in bad shape.
jaemin let out a shaky breath as he held his head in his hands, unaware of what to do now.
he barely knew renjun as it is and yet everyone went to him to ask about the boy as if he knew.

annoyed, jaemin looked up to face jeno who held a neutral expression on his face, "That's the stupidest shit I've ever heard." he spat out venomously, hoping jeno would just get the hint and leave him the fuck alone.
he packed his things as quickly as he could, hastily getting up from his seat and purposely bumping shoulders with jeno as he tried making his way out the classroom before being pulled back by the older.
"Jaemin." he spoke firmly, clutching the younger boy's arm as if his life depended on it, "Talk to me."
Jaemin yanked his arm back, a little shaken about jeno's sudden hostility since he'd never seen this side of him before.
"have some fucking dignity!" he tried so hard not to cry right in that moment, to which he did successfully but he was coming close to just letting it all out in a fit of angry tears.
"leave me the fuck alone!" he bit his lip as hard as he could trying to hold himself back from falling apart in front of jeno, "...please..."
