1.9 Confession

"(Y/n)...Is something wrong?"

RIDDLE couldn't help but be concerned for his childhood friend. They are currently inside Riddle's room and everything seems to stop as if the time has freeze every minute that Riddle spent with (y/n). He couldn't get this cat out of his mind actually. Everything is so perfect until they got separated. In the end, the person who suffered the most is himself.

Right?

"You overblot! Isn't that obvious?"

Riddle was shocked as he already told everyone to keep this accident inside of their dorm. "Who... told you about this?"

Riddle stares into the cat's (e/c) eye. Couldn't help but be memorized by the person in front of him.

Back with (y/n), His head only fills with more unpleasant thoughts about what happened to Riddle. Why is he so casual about this when he could have died from this? What if really did die?

What if one of his friends dies?

Even if (y/n) wants to hide his sadness with his blatant lies but he couldn't do that forever. Tears start falling out of his (e/c) orbs that were looked at by Riddle. His facade finally broke down.

Riddle went full-on panic after seeing his friend who he personally wants to be more than a friend has broken down. He couldn't do much but decided to hug the cat as he tries to not also broke down in tears too. seeing his most precious person crying also makes him want to cry. He just wants to see a smile on the cat's face even if he is being annoyed by him.

Even from the outside, Riddle seems to be strict and blunt most of the time but he got that side of him too.

But the force was a little bit too much as (y/n) was the one who was standing near the red-headed prefect. Two of them instantly got pushes down onto the soft bed with Riddle being on the top of (y/n), Still returns the hug even if the position was a little weird if someone has to come across to see this but the cat was just a dumb at the topic of this so he doesn't see what's so wrong about this.

"D-do you know how much I care about you? so p-please... Don't let them b-bottle up inside of you. Isn't that what friends is for?" the (h/c) hair let out a sniffled voice as the two still were hugging.

The word friend hit Riddle hard. Poor him.

"(Y-Y/n)... I'm sorry..." was all Riddle could say before noticing the position the two were in. He gets out of that position and sits next to the laying body of the cat who seems so lifeless. Seeing him like this makes him feel guilty.

But then the two went silent so they both could stop crying and eventually (y/n) burst out laughing lightheartedly out of the blue. He is back to normal again and Riddle couldn't get his stupid grin out off his face.

Riddle took his chance as he leans in closer to the oblivious cat who was smiling dumbfoundedly as if Riddle was going to kiss (y/n). The faster the better.

"I have something to tell you..."

(y/n) hum back as answer as he giggles a little at Riddle whose face was tinted with red color.

"I lo-"

"Um, prefect Trey-senpai said to bring you tea-"

...

Shit.
The only word that is visible in Ace's mind right now.

"OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!"

And (y/n) still don't know what was Riddle going to say. Maybe he could ask later...? Only if he didn't forget about this first. As long as his friend is with him, he wouldn't wish anything more than this.
