Helena's P.O.V
There is a house, built out of stone.Wooden floor, walls and windowsills.
Tables and chairs, worn by all of the dust.
This is a place, where I don't feel alone.
This is a place where I feel at home ...
I yanked by headphones out of my ears as I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. Without looking at the caller I.D I pressed answer, bringing it up to my ear.
"Hello?" I asked slowly, unsure of who was on the other end."Where the hell are you?!" Joe's voice growled down the line.
I let out a sigh of relief before answering.
"At the train station, I'll be home soon. I promise."
"You got Lilly?"
"Yes, she's here with me."
My thoughts flashed to Harry, how is he coping? Has he found the letter?
"Be quick." Joe said before ending the call.
How was I ever going to explain to Lilly when she's older where her dad is? Joe will leave soon, he won't be able to take care of me and Lilly. I'll end up alone and struggling again, I won't be able to go back to Harry. It wouldn't be right.
The sound of the train caught my attention, I guess its time to leave.
Again.
Louis P.O.V
"Helena? Harry?!" I yelled as I strolled through our front door.
No answer.
"Hello?!" I yelled again.
Still no answer.
I made my way to my room to change clothing as it had been heavily raining and I'd walked 2 miles home. But I hardly made it into the hallway as I tripped over something. Or somebody.
"What the hell Harry?!" I said while gripping my arm in pain.
His body remained still, curled up. "She's gone." He mumbled.
"Who's gone?" I asked stupidly, while shifting closer to him.
Harry's body trembled, his whole body shaking.
"Helena, she left and took Lilly with her!" He yelled.
I crawled over to his head, pulling it onto my lap. As I did he dropped a chunky looking envolope, making it's contents spill over the carpeted floor. On one of the letters, it said Louis.
Without hesitating, I reached over and grabbed the letter opening it up.
Dear Lou, my best friend.
Remember when we first met? It was the start of year 3, and the teachers made us sit together every math lesson. I hated math and I know you did too. But I remember it was you that made it enjoyable. I looked forward to math even in year 3 because I got to sit with you. Every lesson you'd do something to make me laugh until my lungs hurt, I always left that lesson with a smile on my face. We stayed in the same class all the way until year 11. We became best friends, we were inseparable. Never apart. I never realised my feelings for you until the night Harry asked me to be his girlfriend. I never admitted it anybody, not even myself. But that night I wished it was you that asked me, we would have been perfect.
