The House.

Louis P.O.V

It's 3 in the morning, and I'm currently walking across a familiar beach using my phone as a torch.

"There! There's the house!" Harry yelled while pointing at a house in the distance.

And there it was. My dream house. Located right on top of the hill, abandoned from the rest of the village. Even in the darkness of the night, it still looked beautiful.

"How do we get up there Lou?" Harry questioned.

I turned my head towards the house and trailed my eyes down the hill, looking for the hidden gate. "Over there." I said while pointing to a driftwood that was stick out from underneath a bush.

We walked silently over to the driftwood, Harry falling a step behind as we got closer.

"If I remember correctly, the gate is right..." I pushed a feel branches out my way. "Here!"

In front of us was a metal gate, rose petals clung around the metal bars of it. It had gotten rusty over the many years it had been there, but it still made you feel as if you were stepping into a fairytale.

"Is this like a secret passageway?" Harry asked, excitement coming through in his voice.

I nodded once. "Yes, there's a main road that leads up to the house, but even that's hard to find. Me and Helena found this accidentally, we had no idea it led up to the house." I explained while shoving the gate open.

The gate made a creaking noise that caused Harry to tense up beside me, we both slowly walked through, looking around us all the time.

"Do we just follow the path?" Harry whispered.

"Yeah, It takes about 5 minutes, all up hill as well I'm afraid." I whispered back.

Every noise sent us cowering into each other, Harry's hand found it's way around my wrist and was gripping on tight. We're weren't normally afraid of the dark, but the house gave off a mysterious  feeling about it.

After what felt like forever, we reached the house. From what we could see, a light was on, on the top floor.

"Louis, come hide here!" Harry half whispered half shouted.

I followed him over to a bush and crouched down behind it. "Okay, whats the plan?" I asked.

Harry took a deep breath in and then out, thinking hard. "I say we somehow climb to that window with the light on, have a look who's in there. For all we know, it could be Helena or Lilly."

I nodded in agreement. It wasn't the best plan ever, there was a world of possibilities of what could go wrong with Harry's plan. The main one was the person in the room could be Joe. Then we would defiantly be screwed.

We crept over to the right side of the house, directly below the window. "Okay Louis, you do it, I'll give you a push up so you can grab that bar at the side of the window. Yeah?" The way Harry said it indicated there really was no other choice for me.

I placed my foot on Harry's hands while one hand gripped his shoulder.

"Ready?" Harry asked.

"Yes." I replied.

Harry made a grunting noise as he pushed me upwards towards the window, I quickly grabbed onto the bar when I was in the air. My feet were now dangling as I couldn't find anywhere to place them.

"To the right Lou! There is a brick that sticks out!" Harry whispered.

My foot searched for the brick, and when found, I place one on it, letting the other hang.

I was now fully pressed against the brick wall right next to the window, I tilted my head to the side so I could see fully into the room only to freeze at what I saw.

It was Helena and Lilly.

Helena was holding Lilly, her back facing towards me. Lilly was sleeping, her head resting on Helena's shoulder. The strange thing was that I could hear singing, it was a soft angel like voice that was drifting from the room into the dark night.

"I'd never gone with the wind, just let it flow. Let it take me where it wants to go.." Helena sang while swaying back and forth.

"You open the door, there's so much more. I've never seen it before." She took a breath before carrying on.

"I was trying to fly but I couldn't find wings. But you came along and you changed everything.."

At this point I was just gazing into the window listening to Helana's angel voice flow into my ears.

"You lift my feet off the ground, you spin me around." As she sang that line, she spun her and Lilly around, making her high wasted black skirt flow around with her.

"LOUIS!" Harry practically yelled.

This caused me to lose my footing and make a high pitch girly scream.

The singing stopped, as I was hanging one handed from the bar I could hear shuffling inside.

"One second Lilly." I heard Helena mumble.

Slow steps were made to the window before it was thrown open revealing Helena's black hair.

"Helena!" I shouted.

It caught her off guard, she screamed for about a second until slapping her own hand to her mouth.

"Who's there?" She asked hesitantly.

Her body slightly hung out the window, her head turning side to side. Helena's eyes were wide with fright, the panic showing through the minimal facial features I could see.

"It's Louis!" I told her, still dangling.

"And Harry!" Harry yelled up.

Her head turned into my direction and then down to Harry. If I'm honest, I suspected her to freak out and shoo us away, but instead she grabbed my swaying left arm and yanked me through the window with such a force I swear she wasn't a woman.

After my body landed on the carpeted floor, Helena returned to the window and leaned back out of it.

"Harry, you're going to have to climb up." Helena explained.

"What? Can't you just go unlock the front door?!" I heard Harry yell back.

Helena took a deep breath before answering. "No, he locked me and Lilly in here a day ago, I can't get out."

My whole body tensed up, just the thought of what Helena's gone through makes me want to scream!

"Okay, I'm coming up, it's okay. I don't need help." Harry said.

Helena walked back over towards me and knelt down. Before I could say anything, her whole body was resting on my chest, violently shaking.

"It's okay, you're safe now." I told her whole hugging her into my body.

She pulled her self away from me so her eyes connected with mine. This girl was not the one I'd known for years, she had changed in many ways. Her usual blonde hair was now pitch black, it looked nice against her tanned skin, except the blonde she used to have made her bright blue eyes sparkle

Helena always had a good figure, she wasn't skinny nor fat. She was perfect. She didn't have a thigh gap, and she didn't have a flat stomach. Her body was a size 10-12. I remember back in school, she used to get called fat a lot by our classmates. I'd spend hours in my bedroom with her trying to convince her otherwise, but Helena had always been a very stubborn girl. Never listening to anybody.

Yet when I now look at her, I see a complete different girl. Her face and body was so skinny, the bones poking out. Even her tanned skin had lost its colour. No matter how much Helena tried to cover them up, I could still see the cuts and bruises left on her body.

Especially the recent ones.
