Helena's P.O.V

I hate lying, especially to Harry. I know what his plan is, pretending to love me just so i'll stay with him and Lilly. Part of me hates him, he ruined my life. Got me pregnant, and is now using me just to stay with Lilly. Yet part of me wants to just forget what he's doing, and just carrying on living the lie that he loves me. Because I am happy. I've only spent a night at Harry's and yet im happier then I have ever been since Lilly was born.

But I have to go back, to him.

"Why are you here?" Louis asked, breaking me from my silence.

We were all sat around the kitchen table, each one of us drinking a steaming cup of Yorkshire tea.

"I missed Lilly." I replied, not meeting Louis angry stare. Out of all the boys, Louis knew me the most. We used to be close, but because I left all those months ago without saying goodbye, the friendliness he once used to give me was replaced by anger and disappointment.

"Then why did you ever leave her? Do you realise what hell you have put us ALL through?" His hands gestured to all of the boys.

"Yes, but do you realise what I went through? For nearly two years?!" I yelled back, my body stiffening up.

Harry's hand landed on my leg, patting it a few times until my eyes met his. He gave me a sincere look before re-averting his gaze back to Louis.

"Lilly's settled here with Harry and us, we don't need you interfering with all what we've done for her." Louis stated, his lips formed a smirk.

"It's been two days, you've done nothing but bought her a few items." I argued back.

"Much more then you ever did for her." Louis mumbled.

"Im sorry what?" I asked, annoyed. I got up out my seat, ignoring Harry's stare.

"You're just some idiot girl that got pregnant at 16 and hid it from the child's dad for 2 years!" Louis also stood up from his seat and was only a footstep away from me.

That hit me, hard. My hand came flying into the air and hitting Louis straight around the face, leaving a petite hand mark on his check.

"What happened to you Louis? I thought you actually cared for me at one point. Turns out I was wrong doesn't it?" Tears were now streaming down my face, my voice cracking.

"What happened to YOU Helena? You used to be my best friend, now I just don't know anymore." Louis' hands were covering the mark I left on his face, his eyes scrunched up from the pain.

Do I love you? Do I hate you?

The familiar voice of Ed Sheeran singing 'Where we land' blasted through my phone which was lying on the sofa. The ring tone which was assigned to him.

"I have to get this." I mumbled while I snatched it from the sofa and made my way out the front door ignoring Harry calling my name.

I walked away from were they could still hear me and pressed answer.

"H-hello?" I answered nervously.

"Why have you not been answering my texts or calls?!" His voice boomed down the phone.

"I left my phone on the side.. in the kitchen.. of the hotel I'm staying in baby, sorry." I replied quickly, silently pleading that he would believe me.

"Don't do it again? Okay?!" His voice was calmer.

"I wont, I promise you." A smile crept onto my face as his voice calmed down.

"Have you got Lilly yet?" He asked.

"No, I'm still working on it, give me a few more days. I can't just take her and run baby, it will take time." I said back while playing with the ends of my hair.

"Hurry." That was his last words before the phone went dead.

How was I going to do this? Go back to him with Lilly, she was better off here. But this time, I don't have a choice. It's been a week since- No. Don't think about it.

I walked back inside but paused as I heard Zayn speak.

"Im going to visit Marley in about 2-3 hours, you guys coming?" I heard the chairs squeak as it was pushed backwards against the floor.

"Yeah, we'll come." Harry replied, sounding tired.

I decided to enter then. I walked straight through the kitchen/living room area and into the hallway where I was greeted by a face I didn't want to see.

"Helena I'm s-" Louis started to say, but I cut him off with a shove to his chest.

"Shut-up Louis, I'm just a idiot girl. I don't want to hear your apology!" I screamed at his face.

I picked up my shorts that were on the ground and recived my top and bra somebody had hung on Harry's door before grabbing my handbag and walking into the bathroom.

I was going to go see Marley, we have been friends once. Not close, but still friends. I needed a girl to talk to.

I stripped out of my clothes and jumped into the shower, letting the warm jets of water hit my bare skin, for the short time I was in there, it made me feel like I had no care in the world. A shower was a place for thinking, but I didnt want too, so I shut out all thought of Harry and the boys and just let myself drift.

I unwillingly got out the shower, but stopped still when I saw the reflection of me in the mirror.

Bruised. Cut. Damaged.

My face was awful, I had a massive black bruise under my left eye. My lips were swollen, they looked just plump, but I knew the real reason why. I had a cut just below my hair line and another one on the side of my face below my chin. It had lost its round-ness it had before. Now it was too skinny, my features looked too bony.

The rest of my body was pretty much the same. My ribs were poking through from lack of eating, they had purple marks on them. My wrists had cuts trailing up them. The rest of my body was just splashed with bruises and cuts. Before I went out anywhere I would have to cover them up with makeup, so much makeup. It would take me ages, covering every mark left by him. Nobody suspected a thing.

*Knock Knock Knock*

3 sharp taps came from the bathroom door, making me jump.

"Are you nearly done Helena?" Liams asked, his voice was un-easy.

"Yeah, give me a few more minutes Liam." I replied back, a sigh ending the conversation.

I couldn't be bothered to do my hair, so I quickly put it up into a messy bun that sat on top of my head. I pulled out my bandanna and tied it round the top of my head, leaving a small bow at the top. I then applied a large amount of foundation to my face and body, covering up the cuts and bruises that were scattered on me, so much make-up. Trying to make myself presentable was starting to become harder and harder.

I took a deep breath before leaving the bathroom.

"The bathroom's free Liam!" I yelled to nowhere particular, hoping he heard.

I strolled into the living room/kitchen where Louis was holding Lilly on his hip, watching me walk.

"And where do you think you're going?" He asked, sounding like a parent.

"Out." I replied, now starting to sound like a troubled teenager. Which I guess I still am.

"Oh, so you're leaving Lilly again are you?" Louis questioned, his eyebrows slightly raising as he said it.

"For and hour or two, I'm aloud a break Louis!" I yelled causing Lilly to start to cry.

"Yes you're aloud a break, but you actually have to take care of her first Helena."

"I did! For 2 years! I JUST NEED A BREAK!"

And with that I stormed out the apartment, but I didn't get out fast enough, Louis was right behind me.

"You can't just take a break being a mother."
