(17) Alumni Night

The following weekend,

Winnie was making breakfast as her oldest daughter Sasha and youngest Laurel helped her. Raegan came into the kitchen yawning after being up for two hours the night before having sex. 

"Dawson still sleeping?" Winnie said 

"Yeah.." she said 

Suddenly the house was filled with music. "Eye of The Tiger" was blaring from the kitchen's Alexa. James came down the stairs in his old jersey and letterman's jacket. 

"James Buchanan! People are sleeping!" Winnie yelled over the music as he started dancing towards her. 

He grabbed his wife and kissed her as he dipped her. 

"And now you know how they have five kids." Sasha said as she cocked an eyebrow. 

Suddenly Bucky came busting through the basement door all dressed in his jersey and jeans. 

"Ah there's one of my boys!" James said as he hugged him. 

Hudson their oldest son came in with his wife and their two young kids. He was also all decked oit in his jersey and joined his dad and brother. Soon enough the kitchen was filled with Winnie's sister and family and James' brother and family. 

Dawson heard all the commotion, he peaked down the stairs to see them all dancing and laughing. He went back to his room and began to do his homework.

Later on that night the school gym was filled with alumni from the football and cheer days before. Music playing on low while everyone mingled. 

Natasha walked up to the mic with Bucky. 

"Can we have everyone's attention please.." Nat said 

Everyone turned their attention to her.

"We would like to ask you to sit with your graduating class. Starting with the first class to every graduate from here 1978 that means you old man." Bucky said 

"I'll show you old man" James said as they found the bleachers for their class. 

Once everyone was sitting, Natasha took the mic back.

"Tonight we are celebrating the school's 48th year. And Coach Fury's retirement as athletic director of this school. So tonight we look back at our school's journey to today." Natasha said 

"So sit back and relax." Bucky said as he took the mic and they walked off the gym floor. 

Four big white screens dropped as the lights went down. 

"Welcome to Tiger Nation!" was all over the screen as Eye of The Tiger began to play as they did a look at past and present coaches.

Next thing on the screen said "1973-1978 with James and Joe Rogers captain photos" 

James and his class howled and clapped as "Sweet Emotion" began to play as they showed game clips and practice clips. 

Bucky was standing close to Raegan. She saw "Connelly" as the camera passed the backs of playrrs and a shot of James and her dad being goofy holding up number 1.

"What's wrong?" He whispered 

"Thats my dad..but he..that doesn't look like the man who raised me." She whispered as it showed a clip of them all dancing on the field. 

Natasha came and got her as they had to get ready. The lights came on as the current cheer squad came out as "Hey Mickey" began to play. They were in the 70s cheer uniform as above them on the screens was Winnie's squad from the 70s. 

Winnie was all smiles along with the others. Bucky shook his head as he watched Raegan and kept looking at the screen watching his mom. They pulled the former squad near the end to join them. 

James and the guys hollered and whistled like they use to. 

They went into the next class which was James' brother TJ Barnes and Winnie's sister Bethany

 They showed the clips to "Another One Bites The Dust." for the football players and the cheer squad re created one of their routines to Girls Just Want to Have Fun." 

They did that for each class, at some point Winnie spotted Bucky with his back to the gym as he and Raegan made out but she couldn't see Raegan. He backed her against the bleachers that were closed since they were on the second level. 

"Like father like son." She said 

"What?" James said 

She pointed to the jersey that said "J. B. Barnes."

"Thats my boy.." James said

Winnie smacked him. "I remember those days." He said to her.

"Yeah until I got pregnant half way through senior year." She said 

James shook his head at her as he kissed her. 

Finally the night was over, when they got back James and Winnie went to bed. Dawson was asleep already. So Raegan joined Bucky downstairs and they had sex on his couch as she rode him.
