The next day when I turned on the news. Then my heart dropped. Me ,Shaniqua and Neveah were on the news. Well ...our crime not us they didn't get a picture of us.
I kept watching then boom I saw it Shaniqua had dropped her cellphone.
The police hadn't touched yet. Hopefully the didn't see it. She must've dropped it when I told her to walk home. Oh my gosh that could land us in jail. And I can't have that.
I quickly ran over to Shaniqua house and tried to tell her what I just saw. I knocked on her door.(Bang bang) when she opend it she rolled her eyes at me.
"What are you doing here ? I thought I was cut off!?!?!" She said rolling her neck
" yo, right now not the time to be sassy and ish...where ya phone at?(I don't know I been lookin for it all morning) I was watching the news this morning and our crime was being in investigated by the police then when I looked in the background of the news reporter I saw ya I phone on DA floor." I said way to calmly
It weird...cause the police don't investigate murders and stuff but they investigate a small little robbery.
"What!?!?!?! We could go to jail.(I know)" Shaniqua said with her voice shaky.
Sorry this chapter was so small I just couldn't wait to get to the next one.
