Chapter 24

Next morning....

Vansh's POV.....

I wake up from my sleep. Last night I slept well as it was raining and thundering outside. Then like everyday first I get freshen up. Then open my laptop because I've to send an important mail. But my head is paining and I can't look at the laptop screen.

I badly needed a cup of black coffee. I've to make it by myself. So I goes to downstairs.

When I reach there I stop on my place seeing the scenery. Here Riddhima is laying on the floor near a sofa. What happened with her? Why she's lying here like this?

I runs to her and turns her. I'm not getting good vibes. What happened with her? Her hairs are messy. Tears stains on her soft cheeks, lips dried. The sparks is missing from her face and looking pale. I kept my hand on her forehead and her body temperature is high. My be she gets high fever. Why the hell she's laying on floor? I patted her cheeks and call her but she isn't answering.

Vansh: Riddhima!! Riddhima!! Get up.
Riddhima open your eyes.

She isn't waking up. My be she's unconscious. Ohh no! I've to call the doctor. But before that I've to take her to the room.

Then I pick her up in my arms and take her to my room. I lay  her down on the bed carefully and cover her with the duvet. I'm feeling bad seeing her like that. I don't want to see her unconscious. I want to see her all fit and fine.

Vansh now call the doctor. So I dialed his number and ask him to come here as soon as possible. Then I bring a bowl full of water and give wet clothe on her forehead.

Few minutes later, the doctor comes. I bring him to my room. He goes near Riddhima and check her pulse.

Doctor: who is she?

Vansh: my...my wife.

Doctor: when she gets fever.

Vansh: umm...may be last night.

Doctor: may be? You don't know the exact time?

Damn it's so embarrassing. What type of husband I am that I don't have any idea when my wife fall ill.

Vansh: woh.. actually.....

Doctor: leave it. She's is unconscious. It seems that she's unconscious from a long time may be due to fever.

Vansh: oh

Doctor: no need to be worried. I give her an injection. She'll get her conscious back after sometime. I'm giving you some medicines. Give it to her after feeding her something.

Vansh: okay. Is there anything serious.

Doctor: don't worry. Nothing is serious. She just gets fever may be due to fear.  But she'll be fine after taking the medicines. One more thing she's weak so please take care of her meals.

Vansh: okay.

Doctor: make sure that she doesn't skip her meals.

Vansh: I'll take care of it and thank you.

Doctor: Mr Rai Singhania you don't have to thanks me. It's my work. Now I'm taking your leave.

Vansh: okay.

Then he leave from there. But the problem is why she was scared and gets unconscious. What happened with her. Argh!! when she'll get up I'll ask her. What she was doing in the hall. She should be in her room and if she was scared then why didn't call me.
