A year in Italy

I woke up first and I saw Kai sleeping next to me, I have no regrets about last night and I really thought I was in love with Kai. I slowly got out of the bed and started getting dressed..."what are you doing", Kai asked with the deepest morning voice..." oh hey I didn't wanna wake you up, I have to go... I have to meet someone in 2 hours and I don't want to be late" I said as I started walking to where he was sleeping, and gave him a short kiss "bye" then I was about to walk out," wait... I'll take you back" he said as he was rolling out of bed, "sure".

We walked out of the hotel and he did not say a single word about last night, "so which one is your car?", I said as we reached the secluded parking lot of the hotel... "that one" he pointed to a 2020 Audi A3. He opened the doors for me and then I got in. The drive was quiet, I decided to break the silence... "Kai did you enjoy last night? Why are you so silent?" he let out a sigh, " I am sorry Camilla but I don't discuss those types of topics" as he said that, I decided to shut my mouth until we got to my apartment.

We got to my apartment and he parked the car, " Camilla loo-..." I quickly got out of the car and slammed the car door " thanks for the ride" I said without caring about his car door, he was rich he can fix it. I then made my way to my apartment, but when I got to my door I heard Sophia talking to a familiar voice. I then opened the door and was met by Eliot on our sofa with Sophia, " Camilla hey! " She said as she jumped off the couch and put her cup of coffee on the table and hugged me, " Bruh where have you been!" she said as she hugged me but I did not hug her back, my eyes were fixated on Eliot. So many questions " what is he doing here?" I asked Sophia with a steady tone, " Oh! silly me, Camilla meet my brother, Eliot "after Sophia said those words my world came cashing down and I was now facing reality.

Eliot then stood up from the sofa and held out his hand for me to shake it, " nice to meet you Camilla, I've heard so much about you from my dearest sister" he said as he pretended not to know me. I caught up with his act and shook his hand, " likewise" I said as we made eye-contact. " I heard you have met my brother Kai, how was it?" he said as I was about to walk away, " what do you mean how was it?" I asked him with narrowed eye-brows. " Sorry Cami, you know I love a good gossip... so how was your date" Sophia said with an excited tone, " I have to go" I said as I looked at Sophia with disbelief. 

I then walked to my room and left them both in silence, I got to my room and closed the door behind me and suddenly felt emotional. I decided to pull myself together this was my first week in Italy and I was having my emotional breakdowns. I sat on my bed and took out my laptop and skyped my mom...

Mom: hey honey, you haven't talked to us since you got there.

Camilla: I'm sorry momma I was tired when I got here and I sorta lost network.

Mom: It's okay hun, so how is Italy? found anyone yet?

Camilla: Come on mom you know it's too soon, and besides I have a career to focus on.

Mom: I know honey, I just hope you are not having your episodes again.

Camilla: Yeah uh they are getting better, I promise mom I'll be better.

Mom: I know you will, we Anderson women don't spend our time crying over men. 

Camilla: Go Andersons! I miss you mom.

Mom: I miss you too honey. 

Camilla: you are my love.

Mom: you are my life, you're gonna be okay.

Camilla: Bye mom.

Call ended...

I then went to take a quick shower and change into something comfortable, I decided not to go out today. 

2:22 pm

*knock on the door*

I was watching Netflix then I stood up and opened my bedroom door and saw Sophia standing there with a basket full of snacks, chocolates, champagne and two pieces of chocolate cake, " I'm sorry, I know I've only known you for like a week or so but I'm really attached to you. I'm sorry I discussed your business with Eliot" she said with sincerity, " I don't have much friends, you are my first real friend... you are the only one who likes me not my dad's money" she added. I actually sympathized with her, " It's okay Sophia" I said as I gave her a hug.

I opened my door for her to come in and we both sat on my bed and started munching on he snacks she brought. We watched all our favorite series from Insatiable to Sex life till we fell asleep on the bed. Spending time with her actually healed me and I forgot all about my breakdown and anxiety.
