Heat rose to your cheeks as you watched the boy walk away from you. Quickly, you stood up and caught up to him. Once you reached his side, you glanced at Naruto who didn't seem to be bothered by the comment he made. His face showed no concern and his eyes seemed relaxed, it wasn't very often when you saw him like this. Specially since last time you did see him, he was about to kill his best friend.

"You shouldn't stare at people that way." Naruto voice interrupted your thoughts as he smirked slyly.

You looked away embarrassed. "Sorry." You mumbled.

"I never said I didn't like it." He said guiding your face towards his by grabbing your chin. He was staring at you with a lazy smile on his face; it was hot.

You remembered the conversation you had with Ino and Sakura and you couldn't help but disagree with them. Naruto was attractive and it was a fact.

With a reddened face, you inched your face closer to his and cupped his cheek. This seemed to break him out of character. His eyes widened and his ears turned a dark shade of pink.
Right before your lips were an inch away from his you smiled and backed away and flicked his forehead.

"Stop teasing me." You told him, he stared at you before smiling widely.

"I'm going to get you back for that one." He declared crossing his arms against his chest and getting his face closer to yours.

"No, you're not." You pushed him away with one arm, a smile clear on your face.

"Um, rude." He exclaimed, looking almost offended. You laughed at his expression and he smiled in return.

"So where are you taking me?"

"I don't know."

"So, we're just going to walk around?" You pondered.

"We could go near the bars, but those are full of drunks so you'll have to stay close to me, okay?" He looked at you cautiously.

"Wait you'll really let me go?" You asked excitedly, your entire face lighting up with curiosity.

"Why would I stop you?" He asked confused. Not really understanding why you needed his permission.

"My mom wouldn't let me go on walks at night, specially by myself."

"Oh." Unknowingly, that comment created some space between the two of you. Naruto's mood soured slightly at the thought of not having someone to create rules for him. Still, he didn't mention anything not wanting to ruin your mood.

"Have you ever gone there?" You questioned.

"More times than I'd like to admit." Though he didn't specify why, you knew the reason.

"Well," You watched him with a reassuring look "We're going together this time! It'll be fun!" You got on your tip toes and ruffled his hair.

"Hey! Don't mess up my hair," he complained, his fingers tried to bring back his hair to his original style.

"You're acting like you didn't ask me to touch it before."
