"Sasuke, that makes zero sense." At this point you had finally caught up to him.

"I'm not going to explain myself." He said bluntly.

"I don't think he cares that much."

"I don't care about what you believe." He stated as he cut a branch out of the way with his sword.

You just stared at him wondering how Sakura willingly spends time with him.

"What?" He gave you an annoyed look.

"Nothing." You smiled innocently.

"Tch."

You continued to walk in silence, deciding that there was nothing to talk about anymore. Getting to know him would be awkward, especially with his attitude. However, as the time passed you realized there was something you wanted to discuss.

"Sasuke," You started, "What was the right answer?"

He looked sideways at you before answering, "If you had killed solely for your benefit, I was willing to kill you." He looked back at the path ahead.

"Because I wouldn't have been any better than the man that was killed, right?" You asked and he nodded.

"You're not such a bad person after all." You mumbled quietly.

"What did you just say?"

You brought your index finger to your lips and smiled smugly. He frowned, clearly annoyed at your actions.

"Sasuke, you're an amusing person."

He opened his mouth but you didn't give him time to answer.

"Where are we anyway?"

Sasuke sighed loudly and rubbed his face with his right hand. "Outside the leaf, half a day's worth of walking."

"Say what now?" You asked laughing. "You think," You pointed at him. "That I will walk for twelve hours."

"You don't really have a choice." He remarked without sparing you a single glance.

"Are you kidding me?!" You whined. "Why did you bring me all the way out here? And how did you even bring me all this way in a couple of hours?"

"Naruto is probably looking for you right now, and I didn't want to deal with him. Being too close meant that he would find us quickly."

"There's no need to look all over for me though..." You sighed.

Sasuke remained silent for a moment.

"Sakura and Naruto care about you, you realize that, right?"

You nodded slowly, you were slightly upset that you were causing them so much trouble.

"Can we walk a little faster? I want to go back home as soon as possible." You said and increased your speed but a hand grabbed your arm and stopped you mid way. "What are you doing?"
