The drive was not how Harry thought it would go. It took them a lot longer than six hours to get there too. At one-point Louis told Niall to just go ahead of them and they'd meet them there. William did not like the car ride at all. Besides Williams' constant crying, his stomach didn't fare well after the mangos he ate for breakfast. They had to stop numerous times in order for Harry to change his multiple blowouts.

"Remind me to never feed him mangos again," Harry groaned as he finished changing his son's nappy for what felt like the millionth time.

"Right, no mangos," Louis chuckled from the front seat. Harry gave him an annoyed look before throwing the soiled nappy into the trashcan near the truck.

"How much longer until we're there?" Harry inquired, buttoning up the new jumpsuit he dressed them up in. Luckily the mess only ever got on the jumper and not the Adidas sweats and jumpers. He dressed him back in those as well before gathering him in his arms.

"Less than an hour if we don't make any more stops," Louis replied. Harry nodded, walking around to the passenger seat, with William still in his arms.

"Let me feed him and try to get him down for a nap and we'll go," he said as he situated himself in the front seat.

While Harry fed the boy, Louis brushed Harry's hair out of his face and behind his ear. "You're so beautiful you know that? You glow every time you have that boy in your arms, even when you're frustrated."

Harry sighed, leaning into the hand Loui had running through his hair. "I'm glad to be doing this with you. You've been such a wonderful partner through all this. I know this trip has been rough and we were supposed to be there hours ago. I'm just happy it's been you. You're such a wonderful father Lou."

Louis leaned forward and pressed their foreheads together. Sighing at the touch. "I wouldn't want it with anyone but you."

Slowly they both leaned in and their lips touched, softly. The kiss didn't last very long but the rush of emotions going into that kiss was going to last a lifetime. Longing, fondness, and a hint of love. They pulled back and then leaned forward one more time for a quick peck. Looking into each other's eyes, they could stop the broad smiles on their faces. Harry's dimples popped and the crinkles by Louis' eyes were more prominent than usual.

The moment was broken by the small boy in Harry's arms. The bottle was empty and William was getting fussy.

"Here, let me take him," Louis offered, gently taking him from his mother. "I'll burp him and walk with him a bit before you head the rest of the way."

Harry could only nod as he watched Louis take the young boy out of the car. He watched as louis burped him and gently rocked him to sleep while walking back and forth in front of the vehicle. When William was asleep, he placed him in his car seat, secured the buckle and got back in the drivers' seat. Placing his hand on Harry's upper thigh as he drove.

"You never did tell me what Eleanor's parents' thought about all this," Harry said softly as they entered the last town before their destination.

Louis sighed and ran a hand through his hair before he ran it down his face. "They're not happy. They blame me for being a "bad alpha" to not only her but to the pack as well."

Harry was astonished, never would he think Louis was a bad alpha. Louis had too much love in his heart to be anything else but the best. "What? How is that even possible?"

Louis looked over at Harry, before replying, "Her father, Simon." He spat the name out like it gave him a nasty taste in his mouth. "Hates me, has since the moment he met me. I'm not as tall as the rest of the alphas in the pack. I have feminine curves and apparently, I'm too camp for his tastes. Little does he know I'm gay and always have been. If I wasn't forced into having his daughter as my omega, I would have found a male omega to become my omega."
