Harry could feel his heat coming on. It was a few days early then when it usually came and that resulted in the omega becoming stressed. They just finished breakfast with a group of beta's but unfortunately the betas could tell there was something off about their Omega. Louis was out taking care of some business in town so he couldn't take William to his mothers.

Immediately after breakfast the omega gathered William's things, food to last a couple of days and his two favorite stuffed animals. He packed William's bag and gathered the pup into his arms.

Jay didn't live too far from the pack house. Just a couple houses down so Harry felt he should be safe. He couldn't help the underlying feeling that someone was watching him though.

Jay moved a couple houses down from the pack house when Louis became the alpha. She knew he would one day start his own family and although the previous pack Omega didn't have to move out, she chose too anyway.

Jay's house was a house almost as big as the pack house. The only difference was it didn't have all the extra rooms. Her house had four bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms. Jay and the older girls had their own room but the younger twins had to share. They didn't mind, they enjoyed having a room to share.

"It makes it easier to share clothes!" Phoebe had exclaimed the first time Harry took a tour of the house.

"It also makes it easier to gossip," Daisy had giggled.

Now though, Harry walked up the steps to the house, sweating. He didn't bother knocking as he walked in through the door.

Jay was sitting on the couch in front of the fireplace reading a book when she noticed Harry.

"What in the world are you doing here?" she exclaimed, taking William and his bag from the younger Omega. "You should not be out of your house this close to your heat."

Harry panted as he walked into the kitchen for a glass of water, chugging it all in one go, "Louis' in town on some business and I needed him safe before it fully started," he panted, wiping the sweat from his brow.

"You should have sent one of the betas to come get me," Jay scolded. "You're not safe this close to heat. If one of the alphas gets a whiff of you, there's no telling what might happen."

"I was fine walking here," he told her with an eye roll. "I'm only a few houses down. What's the worst that could happen?"

"An alpha could try and rape you," she deadpanned.

"Oh, don't be cynical," Harry muttered, feeling another rush of heat enter his body. "I gotta go, can you call Louis? I left my phone at home."

"You stupid boy," Jay fussed but nodded, pulling out her phone. "Get home safe, I don't want anything to happen to you."

"Thanks for watching him," Harry thanked her before leaving.

The moment he exited the house he felt a pair of eyes on him again, causing a shiver to rake through him. He wasn't sure who it was but it had his hair standing on edge. He thought maybe he should wait inside for Louis to come home, but he didn't want to be here when his heat fully started.

Slowly he walked off the porch, moving in the direction of his house.

"Look what we have here," a voice said in front of him. When he looked up, he saw Nick, leaning against a light post. "What's a pretty omega in heat like you doing outside? Hmm."

"Leave me alone Nick," Harry huffed as he moved to try and get by.

"Oh, I don't think so, omega," Nick grabbed Harry's bicep when he tried to pass. Making Harry shiver in disgust. He was an omega at the start of his heat and all he wanted was his alpha. Not the strange alpha in front of him.
