**Carina's POV**
We arrive home and I help Maya into the house.

Once we get in she flops over on the bed,

"My stomach hurts, and my head"

"Those are some of the unfortunate symptoms of the epinephrine you were given"

"I'm never eating almonds again" she groans into the pillow. I laugh

"Trust me, you are never going to come into contact with almonds again if I can help it."

"That is fair, and I completely agree"

I slip onto the bed and pull her onto my lap.

"Want to eat something?" I ask

"As long as it doesn't have almonds in it"

We make our way to the kitchen and I heat up some grilled chicken

"Sometimes I wonder, how does Andy do it? I mean you think I'm stubborn, Mer's worse. And they have to navigate around 3 kids"

"I don't know how they do it"

We eat the grilled chicken, Maya mainly picks at hers but eats half. We shower, and get into bed (my sense of time is bad, let's pretend it's late now).

"Crap, we have that playdate with Andy and Mer tomorrow"

"Shoot, I forgot about that. Are we still going or do we need to cancel?" I ask

"Yeah, I mean what are we going to do otherwise"

After a while I drift off

I feel Maya shaking me awake

"What is it?" I ask, still waking up

"i can't sleep"

"That's ok" I say moving closer to her "Want me to sing a song?"

She hums in agreement

I sing a small song and try to stay awake, I finally give in when I see Maya falling asleep.

We've gotten up and finished getting ready. Maya insisted on driving, even though I said I could.

"Hey, can you look for a blue phone charger in there?" Maya asks pointing at the glove box

I open it and find a pair of headphones and like 5 chargers, all of them blue.

"Maya you do realize there are 5 blue chargers in here?"

She glances over

"I've been looking for those headphones! They're probably dead by now"

"Only one way to find out" I say, flipping the switch and putting them on,

"Seems char-"
