"கிங் ஆஸ்கார், நாங்கள் விழாவை தயார் செய்துள்ளோம்"
"King Oscar, we have prepared the ceremony."

With a finger gesture he dismissed his servant. After taking one last bite of his bread he stood from the dinner table. His mantle swayed as he strutted down the halls of the castle. Every servant in CalBridge bowed as he passed—saying their greeting whenever it was appropriate.

He walked with pride and a calm demeanour like what was about to happen was a daily occurrence. Loud whines could be heard when he walked over to his thrown and sat. Cries could be heard louder than ever as some begged for mercy.

"We gather here today for the execution of Aaronton Heights, for he has done forbidden magic!" He paused as gasps were heard, although being outside the gasps and chatter sounded deafening and echoed as if the large crowd was in a tiny room.

"No one shall have to worry, he will get exactly what he deserves and then we shall feast!". King Oscar shouted.

Every one was silent, listening to what King Oscar had to say.

"உங்களுக்கு இரக்கம் இல்லையா?"
"Do you have no mercy?"

The silence was broken when a woman shouted from the crowd.

"I beg your pardon!" King Oscar shouted back looking for the woman he heard.

"My husband did nothing wrong, he dear hurt no one." A woman said appearing from the crowd. The people parted as she pushed her way through.

"All this?" She said gesturing around with one hand, "because he didn't join a coven, its nonsense—nonsense I say."

King Oscar sat silently eyeing at the woman.

"You are a fool to think you are in the right for doing this—killing your own people?" Having a questioning look on her face she glared at Oscar,  "You let that woman control everything, your love for her was a curse—"

King Oscar raised from his seat abruptly causing the guards to get closer to the women ready for his order, "YOU DARE COME HERE AND DISOBEY ME, MY WIFE MADE THE COVENS FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU!"

"Get her out of my site!" King Oscar commanded the guards.

"You're evil, god will never forgive you Oscar!" The woman's cried out as the guards dragged her away. They shoved her into a tumbleweed wagon before nodding to the horse rider to carry her away. Everyone stood in shock at the event that took place.

Prince POV

I sat next to the King watching and listening silently to the ceremony that went on. The sudden out burse of the woman wasn't surprising. Everyone pleads for mercy—yet no one gets it so why even bother trying. It's not like your any different or special from the others to get the mercy you seek. I wasn't against the King's rules but I wasn't for them either. I just wanted to please my dad.

"Aaronton Heights, you have been sentence to death for the illegal practice of magic outside of the Covens for 4 years!" The crowd gasped loudly at the statement.

"Aaronton you were our favourite baker in the Kingdom of Calbridge, it truly is sad to see what you became!" The King immediately sent the signal to the guard holding the rope tied to Aaronton's neck.

Within a second, Aaronton's body was pulled to the sky. Some people turned away as they saw Aaronton struggle and dangle over the dirt. Some had anger in their eyes. But my eyes landed on a small group of people, Aaronton's family, seeing not one tear shed from them.
