5. The Caverns (Part 2)

"Wait so Aria is your step-sister?"  Eda said, her voice echoing through the caves as they walked further.

"Well my Father moved into my mother's house, she had already had Aria by then. I was born a couple years later" Pierce's eyes were still buried in the map trying not to get him nor the older Acolyte witch lost. "And like that she became my step-sister" trailing off his last sentence he made a turned to which he spotted what he had came for.

"Here it is, finally" Getting down on both knees Pierce looked into the Water Pool looking for some form of oddness in the water. It was a beautiful pool of water the reflection was as clear as day as Pierce hovered over it, the rocky atmosphere making it all the better. "I don't see anythi-", before he could finish his sentence the sound of footsteps could be heard, alot of them. Within a second the light of torches started to be seen around the corner of the cave's walls. If they weren't sweating from the heat of the caves then they surely were now. 

"Pierce!" The man said running towards Pierce, he almost dropped his torch if it wasn't for Eda taking it from him. He pulled the boy into a warm hug. "I will deal with you later but for now you have to leave, one of my knights will take you". 

"No father I want to stay and help" Oscar's response was cut short as some of his men began to squirm in pain, more bugs attacking them. 

"இல்லை, இல்லை நான் கிளம்புகிறேன் இதை நான் ஒப்புக் கொண்டிருக்கக்கூடாது"
Translation: "No, no I'm leaving I shouldn't have agreed to this!" was heard from the group of knights.

The knight started to run as he finished his sentence, the nervous shaking in his voice. Even for a knight, he to couldn't handle the Caverns. Before he could make it far suddenly a wall started to rise from the floor, moving faster than a second the wall touch the top of the cave. The knights body was now just standing there not moving, the sudden gush of blood running from his head. His body started to slowly fall but it was different, only half had fallen. Laying on the floor now was a knight sliced completely in half vertically with one leg, one arm and half a head.

"நாம் இப்போது இங்கிருந்து வெளியேற வேண்டும்!"
Translation: "We have to get out of here now!"

Every knight didnt look as confident as they did before, some ready for anything to happen. Hands on their weapons and magic ready they became more aware as they heard a voice "You guys dont like my games?" A voice of a woman said.

Walking out of the darkness was a old lady, her dress now torn and hair needing a comb. "Do you not remember me King Oscar?". The King stood still glancing at his son as if making sure he was still there. Pierce stood silently behind him next to Eda watching the interaction play out. 

"You killed my husband, Aaronton" her face now looked angrier than before. The wrinkles on her face became more visible, her face now saggier than before. 

"Impossible, how are you out?" The King asked in a questioning manner.

"I broke out using the same magic that got my husband killed" she stepped closer causing the knights to react by coming closer also.  Pierce was terrified he didn't think he was as ready as he thought he was to battle. "And know I will kill you like you did my husband".

Pulling a staff from what seemed like mid air, the king went flying back into the wall. All the knights charged at the woman using all their power. Only landing a few hits, most of the knights were down. "You think you can beat me" a now evil smile appearing on her face. Her face continued to sag noticibly, her vessel clearly not fit for the magic she had inside her.

"I have dark magic on my side" she laughed hysterically as pieces of flesh began to fall from her. 

Dark magic was deadly for both ends. The victim and the attacker.

"Stop" Pierce's body was now blocking his father's motionless body. Eda was now staff up ready to try to pin the woman down, but it wasn't needed as the woman dropped her staff to hold her head. Her eye lids now started to sag revealing her extremely white white under eye. Teeth falling from her mouth.

"What did you do to me!?!" she started falling to the floor. Now when she was vulnerable Pierce teared a page from his notebook placing it on the woman causing her to become paralyzed. The king was awake now only to see the woman paralyzed on the floor. Some knights started to stand some still on the floor either because of an injury or in shocked. Some eyes still on the woman one knight and Pierce went to help the King off the wet floor. 

"Thank you Pierce And Ambrose" the king said giving a slight head nod. He shifted his eyes from the women to the knights looking at the state they were in. "We should probably start heading back that spell doesn't last that long" the prince said. The king was using the wall as support to stand straight, looking at the wall after seeing what his hand was resting on he said "Can I see your notebook, I need to write something down"
