"Bassanio!" The Prince said trying to catch up with the King's servant. Bassanio wasnt just a servant to the King, he was a friend. Oscar talked to Bassanio about everything, he knew more about Oscar than his own son did, they were bestfriends.

"I would like to request a meeting with the King" Pierce was determined to have his meeting because of his discovery.

"The King is busy today, he's getting the water situation figured out" Bassanio said walking away but Pierce still kept up. "I think I figured it out" Pierce said causing Bassanio to stop in his tracks. "Really Pierce the prince figured it out" Bassanio said this like a question but Pierce couldn't help but think it wasn't rather a statement.

"Yes" his eyebrows now raised looking for an approval for the meeting, he soon got what he came for. "Fine, I'll let Oscar know you've requested a meeting"

"Really?" Pierce said. Bassanio looked at him dumbly, thinking he was just saying it for annoyance only to realize he was serious. "Yes Pierce really." Bassanio walked off leaving Pierce in his thoughts.

"King Oscar" Pierce said with a bow. "Pierce, what is this meeting for hopefully its important, im busy like Bassanio told you"

"He really does tell you everything" Pierce said in a mumble not actually asking a question or expecting the King to hear.

"Yes" Oscar said blankly. Pierce paused for a second watching as his father stared into a book he was writing in, not raising his head once to look at the boy. The feather in his hand moving smoothly as he wrote something down every now and again dipping the feather in ink.

"I think I found a solution to the water issue" He said expectingly. "You think?" Oscars feather still moving against the ancient looking book. "Well I'm not sure" Pierce's voice lowered noticeably.

"You requested this because you thought you solved a major issue in our kingdom, only to say you think?" Oscar was now looking at the boy with a angry yet blank face. "Leave"

"Father, I-"

"Leave now, I have a kingdom to take care of and I can't do that when your annoying me" Pierce left the room feeling defeated, he loves the kingdom as much as the King does. After his mother created it, they finally got the money they always wanted and recognition. It wasn't all for the money though as his mother had a secret. Pierce was afraid his father loved his mother to much, to even go as far as killing their own people because they didn't respect the Covens.

Acolytes are precious people, their pointy ears make them the most recognizable. While living among humans, Guinevere wanted to create peace with the humans not only to co exist better but to have the opportunity to marry King Oscar. When his mother fell in love with King Oscar, she knew the risk keeping it a secret for a pretty long time. Falling for a human. Her people may not want to follow under King Oscar's command because he's a human. Pierce was half human and all he could help but wonder is if that was the reason he was treated unfairly, treated not like the Prince. Although the Covens were to promise the humans and Acolytes equal, people still didn't like them.

I guess thats why people say Guinevere changed Oscar. He was a better man before she died, not wanting to be overthrown he kept her rules and the Covens remain.

"Bassanio I need your help"

"No Pierce, Oscar's still busy" he said. "It's not about the King, he doesn't believe in my plan".

"In that case I'm busy now, bye" Bassanio got up from the bench he was sitting on, walking towards the towns market place. "I need you to use your fire magic since your in the fire coven to help me burn the metal fence down to get to the cavern" Pierce said stopping him in his tracks once again.

"Are you crazy!?" Bassanio said in a quiet like shout, pulling Pierce aside to a less occupied area. "What are you thinking there is dark magic down there what or who goes down there usually don't come out the same" he said eyes wide and scared like he was in the cavern himself.

"Look" Pierce started to open a map of the cavern and pointed to it. "where did you get that?"

"It doesn't matter, I was drinking water this morning" Bassanio cut him off with a "okay and?"

"Just listen, all the water comes from the river but what purifies it?", Bassanio looked at Pierce intriguingly "We already checked the rivers there was nothing" pausing for a minute. "But we didn't check the caverns and, thats what purifies the water" looking defeated he leaned against the wall.

"Can't believe we didn't think of that, I mean no one thinks about the caverns its the only exception to dark magic we have here" Bassanio let out a sigh before going to walk off.

"Wait, can I help please I figured it out its only fair" there was a sad look on Pierce's face.

"No for your father wouldn't like that" still walking he left Pierce in his tracks this time.

"You have to help me Eda, your the most powerful witch I know"

"Don't you dear try to butter me up with your compliments, thats crazy going into the caverns do you know what lies in there?"

"Yes but we have to do this for the kingdom, we can't keep sharing our water supply with them" Pierce said to the crystal ball that connected him and Eda to have a call. Pausing for more than what seemed like hours of Pierce saying please, Eda finally gave in and said

"No, she said no" flopping unto the bed Pierce had to think of a plan D.
