4. The Caverns

TIC TOK TIC TOK 

"Good Night Prince" Pierce bowed trying to look as normal as possible. Not refusing to exchange the greetings of the guards or castle workers. His shoes sent echoes down the halls as they marched to their destination. His arm pressed firmly against the sack as he tried to prevent any noise from coming from it.

With a breath out he closed the door behind him. Taking his brown leather boots off and sitting on his bed he opened his sack. "And that's Plan D for you" pausing to take out the items out of the sack he continued "Steal a bunch of acid".

"குதிரைகளை தயார் செய்யுங்கள்!"
Translation: "Prepare the horses!"

The sounds of horse being prepared to leave were not the only thing being heard that night. It was like a war, it showed how serious they found the Caverns to be. People cried as they watched their families get on horses, swords glistening as the moon reflected so perfect on them. Although it was 12 the kingdoms Acolytes were still up ready to see their siblings or even lovers depart.

"எல்லாம் நன்றாக போகிறது. நான் காலையில் அல்லது நீங்கள் தூங்கும்போது கூட வருவேன்"
Translation:"Everything will be fine, I'll be back in the morning or even while your sleeping"

"ஓ அம்புரோஸ் உங்களுக்குத் தெரியும், நான் தூங்கமாட்டேன், நீங்கள் அங்கு இருக்கும்போது இல்லை "
Translation: "Oh Ambrose you know I'll not be sleeping tonight not...not while your in there"

All they could do was pray, pray to see their loved ones back. The Caverns were dark and airy, the dark magic that was kept there always made it so forgettable. Any one who went there always went crazy, tearing there eyes balls out and saying one thing over and over.

"التنين الأزرق" 

"Knights of CalBridge where here to get our home back, get our water back. Your families shall not worry for you should be back safe and proud when we fix this problem of ours" Oscar said, hands on sword ready to do their traditional CalBridge Chant.

"Sir" a servant said trying to get King Oscar's attention. "Your son is missing from his room" she whispered to him. With a angry look the King went to find his best man, there wearing a off-white shirt with a slight at the top of his chest was Bassanio. His blue eyes looking vibrant against his dark skin. 

"Where's my son?" The King questioned Bassanio destined for an answer but "I don't know" was all he got. "Bassanio, I've known you long enough to tell when you deceive me" The King looked at the man waiting for a response. 

"I believe he has gone to the Caverns" Bassanio looked to the ground refusing to look the king in the eye. "He's the one who suggested the Caverns might be the source of our problems" without saying a word Oscar marched away. "It is time to leave, my son is down there and I can not bare to lose him" raising his sword in the air he signaled the departure causing everyone to gallop away before he got on his horse and gave Bassanio one last look.

Pierce dug through the sack pulling the acid out of the bag before unscrewing it he heard a voice behind him. "Need some help with that?" A lady said.
"Eda, you came" A smile now on Pierce's face, his cheek bones now very visible. "Was it my speech that did it?" the cheeky smile still on. "No, I just really needed water" Eda said as she walked forward. Reaching forward to the metal bars she grabbed it, suddenly the bars came melting down turning a orange color before returning to its original color. "You don't have to come I can do this alone" Pierce said. 

"I can't let the Prince of CalBridge die on my watch" Eda said while walking into the cave, "Plus like I said I need water" she continued while making a fire orb to light up the cave.

Walking inside the Caverns was hard as it was dark and slippery, a torche in hand they walked like what felt like hours determined to find the 'Water Pool' which purifies the water. "Thanks for helping once again, my magic isn't that well to do what you did back there" Pierce said while ducking under the lowered rocks holding the torch high to catch any spiders in their webs.
"Is that because of you can only do paper magic" she said. "Yes, I have to write the symbol down to use magic because I'm Half Acolyte" he stopped looking at the now two path lane and then at his map, "This way". 

"Although I may look like an Acolyte, I dont have the power of one thats also what's stopping me from choosing a coven" his face still buried in the map.

Getting off the horses the knights stopped at the opening of the Cavern. Upon seeing the metal melted on the floor they started to head inside holding their own map of the place. Torches and some magic light orbs in the air, they went deeper and deeper into the cave, brushing off the insects that tried to peel away at their skin. 

"These bugs are pest" said a knight only receiving silence. "Ah!" the knight said next as bugs began to make there way in his boot and under his skin. What seemed like a wood cockroach could be seen patruding from his skin as it crawled up his leg and to his neck. He fell to the floor causing a hurrified reaction from the rest of the Knights and even the King. Bleeding from his eyes he screamed in pain. "இப்பொழுது செல்!" Translation: "Go now!" the King said in a hurry. 

Now walking briskly through the cave they spot markings on the wall some carved and some painted in red 'التنين الأزرق'. The carving on the rock wall that was under the red ink read "Leave this place" in which the king whispered softly to himself. "Let's keep moving" he said louder.
